Merkur Safety Razors

I am on my last blade on my cartridge razor and while i have a cheapo safety razor I would like to get a good one.

Since Merkur is a german company and germans are known for their good quality when it comes to the things they make(cars exempted).

I would like to know what anyone else thinks of them and if you use one.

Was thinking of getting the Futur 70 but some say it is not that good and it would be better to get the HD 34C

Here's is a better place to ask the question.
I use a Merkur (33c I think it is) and it does the job fine. Technique is just as important as the actual razor.
