Best known for songs like "Watch the Children Pray", "Start the Fire", "The Dark", "Burial at Sea", "Into Dust", "Badlands", "Battalions", "Hitman", "Metal Church", "Gods of Wrath", and "In Harms Way," (and so many more) they aren't really known anymore but were one of the great '80's thrash metal bands. In fact Metallica got them signed to Elektra. Anyone still listen to them? David Wayne fit perfectly, R.I.P., such a tragic loss. Share your thoughts and opinions on the former band if you listen.

I've listened to a little bit of them and can say I liked what I heard. There's just so much music out there and so little time to download it.

They've got a lot of really good songs, it's a shame they disbanded.

You left out a favorite of mine,"Of Unsound Mind"..yea I like Metal Church quite a bit...of course I like David Wayne best, but i like a lot of their songs with Mike Howe as singer like the favorite i mentioned, and Badlands,Fake Healer and hmmm..He also sings Gods of Wrath does'nt he?

I always thought Howe sung it for some reason until about a month ago. In Due Time and In Mourning are also good.

One of my favorite from the David Wayne era."Beyond the Black",but i saw a video of them live from Wacken or Download festival or ..i don't know...some metal festival with Howe on vocals and it pretty much kicked ass as well!

That was the very first song on their first studio album, great song. I haven't found much in the way of of live stuff with Howe on vocals...

Heres that video..I have a bad problem learning to post them, but well..hopefully the link will be there anyway..

It was Dynamo Open Air btw..i knew it was some outdoor metal festival..

Awesome. To post YouTube videos here, just put your youtube tags in like you dide, but instead of using the entire link, all that needs to be entered inbetween the tags is the random numbers/letters after the "v=" part of the URL.

Wow that doesn't sound too bad actually. I still like Wayne on that song better though. I like how they fix his mic like halfway through. Then it goes back to the way it was before, and then back and forth lol. Mic problems much? haha
