While it is great that we have a good number of Rally Cars in Gran Turismo, We haven't seen any offerings from Austin Metro - Road and race car alike - in any game so far in the series. This car is likely a good starting point for this manufacturer.
The Metro 6R4 was co-developed with Prodrive for Group B rallying. The car is powered by a Naturally-Aspirated 2991cc (3-litre), 24-valve V6 that produced around 410BHP and 270ft-lbs of torque.
Unladen, the car comes in at around 1030kg - 60 kilos lighter than Audi's turbocharged Group B Evolution, the Quattro S1. The car is four-wheel drive and comes fitted with a five-speed manual gearbox.
I couldn't find any information about the clutch in this car, but It's most likely a twin-plate clutch like other late-period Group B cars, including the unfinished Ferrari 288 GTO.
