As for tips I just made sure to really make wide turns and keep a high speed all throughout the course except for the final turn. Really basic stuff, but I managed to get 1701 (LOL 3 points from 1st, ah well) but the setup for this car works great.

Wow, I just completed the whole drifting part of Shift, and I'm never touching it again. Never would have been able to drift at all without a gamepad, lucky my brother in law gave me a PS3 with a controller a few weeks back (I use a G27 on the PC normally). Also, I got some tips for the above Supra, which I used to win the last race. Take all the gear ratios and lengthen the final drive to max. Then pop it straight into 3rd gear from the start and keep it there the whole time. I could never get more than about 1500pts with the standard gearing and automatic transmission, but with manual and longer ratio I got 1824 pts. on my first try.

I also took a boring day for doing all the drifts at once. With the DS3 of course. And to be honest: had some fun with it. I did the final event with the given Drift Alliance S-15. So even that is possible to do. But takes a lot of patience and practice.

I managed to beat it with an almost stock BMW M3 E36. Nothing fancy, just keep drifting in a zig-zag even on those straights. 3rd gear all the way.

just do the event 100 times!!! the 4th nd the 7th corner are crucial.. if you learn how to do that (I used work converted Silvia) you will win.. also keep TSC high so you can use full throttle.. good luck!!

if no try to come 3th and win the monster mustang.. you can beat any drift event in this car 👍

I beat it yesterday, and all the rest of the drfit events with this Supra and set up tweaks. Thanks a lot for posting this guys. Made it much easier.

Now done, never again...

I beat the race the very same day as I posted here,

In the prize Need for Speed Toyota Corolla AE86 drift car... No sweat. ;)

I knew about the Supra, I was using that one fully maxed out with engine swap and works on all the races before the last one was easy drifting...

Thanks for your suggestion guys. ;)

Oh and now that im 100% done with Shift 2 im gonna sell it for some other game...
