Michael Clarke Duncan, most famously know for his role in "The Green Mile", has passed away this morning, just after 2 months after suffering a heart attack.

Here's NY Daily News' report (the webpage here.):

NY Daily News
Michael Clarke Duncan, the hulking, prolific character actor whose dozens of films included an Oscar-nominated performance as a death row inmate in "The Green Mile" and such other box office hits as "Armageddon," ''Planet of the Apes" and "Kung Fu Panda," is dead at age 54.

Clarke died Monday morning at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, where he was being treated for a heart attack, said his fiancée, Reverend Omarosa Manigault, in a statement released by publicist Joy Fehily.

The muscular, 6-foot-4 Duncan, a former bodyguard who turned to acting in his 30s, "suffered a myocardial infarction on July 13 and never fully recovered," the statement said. "Manigault is grateful for all of your prayers and asks for privacy at this time. Celebrations of his life, both private and public, will be announced at a later date."

He will be forever missed. R.I.P. Michael Duncan.

Just found out about this a few minutes ago and needless to say I'm shocked. I didn't even know he was sick.

RIP, Frankie Figs.

Nobody already got Lucius from Ricky Bobby?

"Sometimes, when I'm all alone, I like to dress up like Donna Summers. The four-inch heels, the wig, everything.

Last chance, romance, for loooove."

His heart was not as big as his muscles.

If you suffer a heart attack, it's actually the opposite. Your heart is typically in marginal condition, and is often enlarged from having to push blood harder through clogged veins.

Yes, the man had a big heart.

RIP, Man.

Bummer. Good actor, he was very unique & I think we all liked him. I certainly did. RIP! I knew that he suffered a heart condition, but 54 is still far too young. :guilty:

Oh bad news, I was also unaware he had the heart attack a couple months ago. I enjoyed his movies and he seemed like a really nice man.

RIP Michael Clarke Duncan.

I think it would be a cheap shot to blame this on vegetarianism. But it would be convenient. RIP MCD.

Has someone been browsing the forum on IMDB? There was a topic on this... Plus someone also said. "I loved him in pulp fiction. R.I.P Marsellus Wallace".

Le epic fail..

Sad. Mustn't have recovered from the original heart attack.

Heard/read a story once where he acknowledged while people recognised him, they couldn't say/remember his full name, for those who did, got $100...

RIP. :(

It's 2009 all over again, with endless waves of celebrity deaths.
