There is no doubt in my mind that VR is the future of sim racing, but it will take a few more generations to be realized. Wireless video and headset audio are must haves.
In October 2016 I purchased the last PSVR set off the shelf, only to return it unopened after a week of reading reviews. It's more likely my next purchase will be a 4K HDR 50 inch screen, not this or any VR. But never say never!
I've been looking at VR sets for The Xb1. I've been checking out the Oculus Rift. It would be really neat I think, I would love to play Elite Dangerous with one, but I like my Dolby surround sound headset too much, that's the biggest issue I have, and why I haven't considered VR more seriously. I'm sure it would be great, but great sound is a must for me, and having a sound system is not an option for me.
