Do you find that mid-engine cars spin out easier than the other types? Everytime I drive the Lotus Motorsport it spins out at almost every curve. Or it must be me

You're right MR's do tend to spin out more. I have found though that once they are race modified and the right settings applied, they can be great handleing cars. Even better than FR's. I to have tried to run the motorsport elise, and had trouble.

I have noticed that some MR cars spin out more but not all of them. For me its seems most FR and MR cars spin out about the same. Of course thats just my opinion.

Given the weight distribution it's pretty much inevitable - but a good MR car can be very hard to beat - great example is the NSX. For a not particularly heavy NA 3 litre, the NSX is a fantastically balanced car.

I had a lot of trouble with the Elise - if you're trying to run the prof Elise series, I recommend getting the custom diff - once set up the car is a lot happier, especially under power.

Over-all, not too bad. I did have quite a bit of trouble with the 787B on the last hard left at Midfield. I guess we were all having that problem.

Some MR cars take a bit of patience and fine-tuning to enjoy. Others make you throw the controller across the room......I find the biggest problem with MR cars is that they don't always do ess-bends too gracefully compared to FR cars.

I put low settings on the stabilizers, usually that does the trick.

That would be the pendulum effect - anyone who's tried to change direction quickly in an older Porsche 911 after turning (such as in an S-bend) would be more than familiar. Also known as a 'tank-slapper'...

To keep it short, I HATE MOST STOCK MR CARS!!!! The only MR cars that are pleasant to drive are the Acura NSX and all of the [R] MR cars...... Except Ford GT40...

I don't really see what the problem is with them. I love the MR cars in GT2. Especially the GT40, which is one of my favorite cars in the game.

Sure, from time to time you get that weird pendulum effect thing, but you just have to work with it and end it with a powerslide in the right direction if you can.

p.s.-- I love the Motorsports Elise, one of the most enjoyable cars to drive. Funny, it's almost hard for me to spin out in that one, unless I'm doing it on purpose.

I've been getting better at them, but there's a few that take some patience out of me.

I like racing the Stratos on rally tracks, on paved tracks, it's a handful. The NSX GT's seem to have a mind of their own, but they are not too hard to drive once they are set up right.

Some of the most frustrating cars are the underpowered ones: The MR-S and the AZ-1; for some reason, they are a lot more difficult to drive hard than say, a GT40 or the 600LM. I'm not spinning them, but I don't exactly look like a pro coming out of some of the corners.

The TRD 2000GT gives me the most headaches. I'm not sure why.

GT-One and R390 - quickest cars in the game (GT2 - ignoring those bloody Pike's Peak racers  ) - that must tell you something.

I always found the Lotus Esprit more of a handful than the Elise.

speaking of zoom-

has anyone noticed on the new Mazda "ZOOM ZOOM" ads, that when holding up a 'model MX-5' (Miata) it actually looks suspiciously like a model Viper RT-10?
