Hey my friends, Iam really sorry that I have made no Setups after the New Year, I was completly taken by hosting my own EGT3M Championship.

I will start to make Setups again for various cars you guys like that iam driving. But please be patient with me, I will try my best and please dont get mad if Iam not directly answering here, psn or on other sides.

Hi m8 i like youre setups ,youre setup for the 911 RSR is just amazing , i have a request i need setup for the Toyota FT1 VGT on supersoft tyres full power that can go around Nurburgring in 6m05 ,can you help ? thanks in advance
 
First of all let me introduce myself, my Name is Dominik Allram, Iam 28 years old and Iam living in Austria (Vienna).

I drive Simracing since the end of 2004, I started with GT FIA Racing game, better known as GTR / GTR2.
After that i drove Endurance Championships in Rfactor and last i was competing in Iracing.

My Input Hardware started with a Logitech G25 and end in a Clubsport equip from Fanatec. (On PS4 i drive currently with Thurstmaster Tgt with the T3pa - Pro Pedals right now!)

Now i want also to compete in GT Sports and i will try to let u guys know my setups, to help out the best i can!
...because we are a Racing community and we should help each other.​

Also, how does LSD play a factor? I crank it up to 60 and then put it down to 5 and don’t really notice anything happening. Do you want it as high as possible in a car as long as you have the grip?

Toe Angle? How do you determine what a car needs and what effect does it really have?

Specific Tips for Tuning Cars on Oval Tracks? I notice that on the last turn of Blue Moon Bay a lot of my cares have a light tremor to them? How would I correct this and steady the vehicle without sacrificing speed? And I notice that with a lot of vehicles the car naturally decelerates 10+ mph at full throttle around the turn? Does this mean my Camber Angle is off? I notice little things with cars that need correcting but I don’t know how to correct them.

Hey mate, I will explain you simple how the LSD in GT Sport works.

There are 3 Values: 1. Initial Torque 2. Acceleration Sensivity and 3. Braking Sensivity

1.) Initial Torque is, simply, how much Torque come's to the Tires after you step on Throttle.
A higher Value puts more Torque to the Tires after stepping on Throttle.
If you set it to the Minimum, then it gives you less Initial Torque on your Tires after stepping the Throttle Pedal. I am starting my Setup Routine always with Value 5 for the Start of the LSD Tuning.

2.) Here it is how Sensitiv the Differential reacts to the Accelaration input given by the Driver.
A Higher Value brings more Tirespin and resulting Oversteer at Corner Exits, but if this Value set to low, the Diff holds you back and you loose Time out of the Corner. I normally start between 10-14. After that i start putting it up, one click each Try, till I feel something like "Snap Oversteering" out of Corner. Then, I put the Value one click down and Try it again.

3.) Braking Sensivity is a bit tricky to explain.
In general you have different Tire Rotation Speeds during Cornering without Throttle input.
-A lower Value disallow's this Rotation Differences.
-A higher Value allow's different Tire Rotations.
So: You can Manage to Set up here Over/Understeering while off Throttle or Braking.
Low Values -> Possible Oversteer, High Values -> More Understeer but Stable. Personally i start with 25, if the car Understeers i go down till i get Oversteer and otherwise if the car is Oversteering i go up with the Value.

Simply Explained:
Toe in for Better Straight Line driving Ability.
Toe out for better and sharper Corner Turn in Ability.

-Normally on Racecars -> Toe out for Better Cornering Abilitys instead of Straight Driving Line Ability.

Edit: Additional -> Higher Toe Values Increasing Tire Wear

Here i Normally FineTune at the End. I start with Front Toe Out 0.20 and Rear Toe In 0.20.
After I raise the Front Value till I get Oversteer or the Turn In Ability is good enough for my Feeling. Maximum Value is always 0.30 Front for me. With the Rear to in you hold Your Car Stable -> Higher Values makes the Car more Stable on High Speed Corner but you sacrafice Cornering Ability for it, because the Car tend to Understeer. So there is to find a good Mid Value. But this is how the Driver likes it.

Hey mate, I will explain you simple how the LSD in GT Sport works.

There are 3 Values: 1. Initial Torque 2. Acceleration Sensivity and 3. Braking Sensivity

1.) Initial Torque is, simply, how much Torque come's to the Tires after you step on Throttle.
A higher Value puts more Torque to the Tires after stepping on Throttle.
If you set it to the Minimum, then it gives you less Initial Torque on your Tires after stepping the Throttle Pedal. I am starting my Setup Routine always with Value 5 for the Start of the LSD Tuning.

2.) Here it is how Sensitiv the Differential reacts to the Accelaration input given by the Driver.
A Higher Value brings more Tirespin and resulting Oversteer at Corner Exits, but if this Value set to low, the Diff holds you back and you loose Time out of the Corner. I normally start between 10-14. After that i start putting it up, one click each Try, till I feel something like "Snap Oversteering" out of Corner. Then, I put the Value one click down and Try it again.

3.) Braking Sensivity is a bit tricky to explain.
In general you have different Tire Rotation Speeds during Cornering without Throttle input.
-A lower Value disallow's this Rotation Differences.
-A higher Value allow's different Tire Rotations.
So: You can Manage to Set up here Over/Understeering while off Throttle or Braking.
Low Values -> Possible Oversteer, High Values -> More Understeer but Stable. Personally i start with 25, if the car Understeers i go down till i get Oversteer and otherwise if the car is Oversteering i go up with the Value.

Here i Normally FineTune at the End. I start with Front Toe Out 0.20 and Rear Toe In 0.20.
After I raise the Front Value till I get Oversteer or the Turn In Ability is good enough for my Feeling. Maximum Value is always 0.30 Front for me. Hi, but to help you i need to know the kind of problem you have with the transmission :)
 
I use these tunes as guidelines to tune the non-race versions of cars, but I would prefer it if you picked a few sports cars at the N500-600 level and tuned those at some point.
 
Hi! What process are you following during gear setting? I think it`s a common problem for many of us, that we can`t set the exact values you`re using. Also can you develop a tune for BMW M6 for Maggiore? I`m using you Z4 setup there and my best on hard is 1.5 seconds slower with hard tyres. I assume running on cloudy morning weather doesn`t count 1.5 seconds :) Of course I`m not that pro like you and maybe that`s the root cause. (In Nurburgring GP my gap was just 0.1-0.2 seconds compared to your reference lap)

About the Gears, generally , I put first the max speed then the top gear and then i fine adjust the gears. If I write only 1. and last gear I only changed this two.

Right now its not possible till Monday, that i make setups for maggiore, because there is the next round of my EGT3M Championship.

In general i wanna make few Setups for Gr.3 BMW M6, Mercedes AMG, Mazda, Toyota and also for Gr.4 in the new Future will come more Setups.

About your times, I see no real differences between foggy and sunny on maggiore, i run allready in both conditions almost the same lap with the Porsche, In Maggiore you have to let the Car fly the most Times without holding it too much back, Trailbreaking in Corner 1, 5 is veeery important and brings alot of time. Last Sector is the You- Have - to - let - the - Car - Fly - Sector, try to hold the Car with Throttle and Braking in the same time stable and with Throttle-Braking Technique to change the under - oversteering without loosing power. Its hard to explain how iam doing it but i think iam doing pretty well on maggiore.

If its ok i can link the amazing Lap from one of the fastest guys on maggiore i know right now. He is around 1-2 tens faster than i am on maggiore with RSS Tires. (he drives 1:50,8 and my fastest is a 1:50,9).

Here is the Lap of Mr. Maggiore, my friend @zzz_pt have fun with his "flying lap"

Would be nice for more N.... class cars to be tuned as there isn’t that many out there as options on them are very limited I know.

Hi, but to help you i need to know the kind of problem you have with the transmission :)

Sorry to be not more specific, i tried your gearbox-settings but i was not able to replicate your values, i also tried different inverse (praiano) gearbox tricks, but with no success, so if possible have a look at your procedure how to reach the values you got, grts and big thnx!
