Missing/invisible opponents bug.

A friend recently bought GT Sport and joined me in some online lobbies. During the races we realised he was unable to see some of the other players. We tried other lobbies and experienced the same issues. Since then he has tried sport and championship races and found gaps in the grid and players appearing in the final standings. The worrying part is we believe his vehicle is visible to the players he can't see. And while he doesn't experience any collisions it is quite possible his opponents do.

Has anyone else experiences anything like this?

Why is this still an issue?

It's really frustrating. We are going to experiment with router settings but not sure if that will resolve the issues.

I saw this video yesterday. Skip to 4:15 when the video has picture in picture. The driver is racing in their own realm and not seeing other oppenents, but appers on the tracks for his oppenents games and pushes other cars off his lines.

His issues are similar. Though it tends to be just a couple of opponents rather than the whole grid. Also I don't believe their cars are static on the grid, they just don't appear in the race or in the standings until the result is confirmed. So this video may or may not be related.

Ridiculous, the game shouldn't allow such races to happen. I can understand if there's connection issues from time to time with certain players, but it's the game's fault for ignoring such problems.
