Missing out on GT Academy?

This is for all the GTPers from countries without GT Academy.

I set up a new account on my PS3 today and set the country to UK.
This enabled me to download the GT Academy and participate.
GT Academy is available for all users on your system, regardless of region.

So if you want to join in on the fun, post your times, and get your hands on the Academy cars, just follow my example.
You will not be able to qualify for the final rounds but you can take part in the first 4 rounds.

It would happen anyway. It's a GT Academy 2012 subject and so it belongs in that forum, not in GT5.

yeah because there is more than 15 country's in this challenge. Last i check there was 34? diff country's listed on the medal tally chart.
(Could be even more country's now)

I downloaded it on the US store today because it is clear the AU store won't offer it (even just as a fun demo), works fine on my AU account thankfully.

I can't participate.

I am in the UK.

I downloaded the academy about 7 times I think, but it fails to install at 14% everytime.

A bit sick of not being able to see what the fuss is about, actually.....

Mine failed to install twice, i've got 6Gb worth of corrupted files (I think, haven't checked - that's assuming the whole download corrupted), but I have it working now.

They're just online ranked license tests really... it won't get exciting until the last two weeks.

Actually 59 countries are officially listed in the Trophy Rankings. I'm not sure if they intend to bring the download to most of these regions PS Store, but for some reason Canada (not eligible for entry to the Academy) got it immediately alongside US. Really unfair to a country like Australia who have to go out of their way and sign into a foreign account.
