Missing the UCD...

So I started GT6 today and I'm really missing the UCD, here's why:

1, When looking to buy a new car I can't tell which are premium and which are standards unless I click into the car and see if it has gallery view. This might seem minor but how many Nissan 200sx or Skylines must I click to ensure I find the premium version?

2, No used car discount. When all the NA 200SX s14/15 are lined up next to each other and have similar pp and power despite the S15 handling better, what incentive do I have to buy an s14? If it was half the price and used but leggy I might settle for a second hand one to satisfy the budget. Now all cars have new status the older car PP don't truly reflect the handling as well and you get instances where an older worse car in the same car family end up costing the same or more. Carazy.

3, I have no reason to covet specific cars or colours. I don't have to find it, it's just there . I don't have to rushto buy used cars they are jjust there as new but inferior at the same price (see point 2).

But at the same time I don't have to grind out some B-spec to find the current best car used for a TT. Or not even have a shot at a good time because when using the GTcars app thing for the UCD it tells me that the car I want to use for the current TT is 245 days away.
Boy I sure do miss it as well................NOT

The UCD could have been bigger and say 3 or 4 continents with one UCD each so it wouldn't take 245 days but would separate them from the Dealership cars.

I'm sorry but this was a very frustrating ordeal in GT5. I'm glad it is gone. Then again I'm not one with an elitist attitude of thinking everything needs to be super high quality. I drive with a wheel in bumper cam and could care less of the looks of the cars to some point. Looks do not affect the way it drives so the whole P V S situation does not bother me. If you want that kind of glamor FM5 is your fix.......... Sorry but this is one feature I'm glad is gone. Forever I hope...........

But I love standard cars as well. If there is a dupe of a standard and a premium then it would make sense to buy the premium no?

Obviously it's quite a personal thing but I think more interesting for career mode to have used cars.

Wanting all premium cars is not elitist at all. I prefer driving in cockpit view, so I plan to only drive premium cars for a long time before touching the standards.

The way they where implemented in GT5 was terrible, still never came across the Lister Storm. Common vehicles where hard to find (beyond the Skylines and miatas), needed the Toyota Tacoma Truck for seasonal races but couldn't find. If it where like GT2 most common used cars would be in the dealership, but rare cars like Toyota 2000 would be the ones that only show up rarely.

The way i see it:
There are those who like and enjoy to daily drive with a manual.
And there are the rest of the population who is used to the convenience of an auto transmission.

In the same way:
There are those who like the particularity of the UCD, and everyone else who cant be bothered with the inconvenience of it.

I say save the manual, and save the UCD

One is sadly bound to disappear faster than the other... it seems. :(

Would have been fairly easy for them to do a NCD and a UCD under each manufacturer and maybe have the UCD inventory rotate somewhat.
