I was actually thinking about waiting for a patch to get the LSD back but who knows when that will be. This car has a lot of understeer but bringing down the downforce helps a little. If LSD was available, we would be able to take off a lot of the understeer with that. I donno, do you guys think it should be delayed until the LSD is patched or should I change the car? Same series just different car. I was also considering doing a Camaro SS Series, would you guys rather do that one instead of this EVO one? I have a Camaro ready so the change would be quick.

If not, here is a list of other cars I'd be willing to change to:
Acura NSX RM '91
Chevrolet Corvette Z06 (C6) RM '06
Honda CIVIC TYPE R (EK) RM '97
Nissan SILVIA spec-R AERO (S15) RM '02
Volkswagen Golf IV GTI RM '01
I don't know about changing the car this far in. Granted, the car is a bit of a handful but that only adds to the challenge.

I would love to continue but if most of you are turned off by the understeer I would be more then glad to change the car. How about a scaled vote...

What makes the car bearable for me - 200kilos of ballast in the rear. Naturally, that takes out a couple of PPs, but makes the car much less pig-ish, and evens out tire wear. So I'd just keep specs as is, just add another PP constraint. And if someone wants to struggle with a nose-heavy boar with a little less weight, and change tires every 4 laps vs every 6 laps - it's their choice. Hey, it's a tuner series, lol.

7 for me.

I got a few laps in just now and I got it to bite pretty well on corner exit but not entry. Seems that a slow-in fast-out approach may be the ticket.

If you change the car I'm gonna shave every hair off my head.

Ok since everyone is not completely turned off by these cars. We will continue as scheduled with the LSD/AYC glitch present. Hopefully an update will come soon. Remember that we do have a practice race tomorrow evening. Not required but recommended.

How many laps are we doing, if you don't mind me asking?

The car is pretty much where I can manage it although there is one more tweak I hadn't considered yet.

It should be about 10-15 laps. Not to long, if everyone will still be in the mood to race, we can try all the tracks in the series for a few laps each. Heck, even other tracks people might wanna try. If everyone likes a track that isn't on the list, I can possibly add it to the list.

Practice Race Room is now open: (Race starts around 7:30PM)

Too bad we only had three people in the room and I had to make an important call and leave early.

However, I thought it would be best for the series if we all had a baseline tune to work with since the car plows like there's no tomorrow. Here's the one I had at Deep Forest where I ran a 1:14.7 today. Granted, I'm not an expert with tunes but at least I found this to be better than the default.

Ride Height: -6, -11
Spring Rate: 11.7, 7.5
Dampers (Ext): 6, 6
Dampers (Comp): 6, 6
Anti-Roll Bars: 2, 2
Camber 2.0, 1.3
Toe: 0.0, 0.0
Brake Bias: 5, 6

At least from my perspective, this setup makes the car twitchy but fast. I still haven't played with the dampers or the toe so there's probably more room for improvement.

Thanks outlaw, hopefully this setup works better for everyone. Added link to your post on the first post.

I am going to have to pull out of this series due to a time conflict with the upcoming season of FMSC. Sorry for the late notice Blackice.
