Makeshift Shuffle - No Tuning RacesOpen

That sounds horrible, driving around with that messed up tire. I'm glad you made it despite all that, but yeah if it happens again, maybe someone could step in for you. Seems stressful to come back from that and have 15 people waiting impatiently for you. :P

The new OP seems clearer, but I thought it was good before. I just think some are a bit too lazy to really read and understand the OP. They just look at it fast and hope they pick up the important parts.

I think especially the driving rules is something people skip because they think they know how to drive clean all ready, and then they miss those parts about contact concession and all that. :)

It was good to get home and have some fun after that nonsense.
If I had to rush to work or an exam or something, that would've been stressful.
A couple of weeks ago I had to go take some exams. It was very cold, and I didn't start my car early enough, and it sounded weird... It's an old car. And I got very nervous that something was wrong, and that I would be too late to take my exams! :nervous: But it was just that it was so very cold, and once it warmed up it sounded alright.

You guys were very patient & understanding! :)

Nobody should be wall riding anyway!
(I used to kick people for doing that at Eifel Circuits in shuffle, remember?)

Also, nobody should be using the part of the road outside the lines on the Mulsanne straight either.
(Only reason to go outside the lines there is to avoid collisions/accidents.)

REPLAY REQUEST

Can someone (who knows how to do this) upload the race replays from Saturday : TRIAL MOUNTAIN and SARTHE

I cannot access them, and maybe I can access someone else's copies better.

(PS: I just want to see these replays - and this post has nothing to do with my previous post.)

I've done it in GT5 so I could do it for Trial (forgot to save sarthe though :/ ) Buuuuut.. in GT5 you could only send your replays to someone in the same region. Because my game could only play PAL-replays and the americans could only play their thing. If it's still like that I can't help you. :P

No I heard it's not like that, that they are compatible worldwide in gt6. I think @Handlebar told me that actually.

Yeah, we have guys in Brazil, Portugal (several), a couple of other Euros, and even some far flung canucks.

Yeah if I join in on Tuesday I will be late but I may not be on this at all. I'm pretty sure I'm going to have a lot going on that day

I like the shot where you got air. I was wondering if you still get penalized even if you make a pass concession? Is it something that depends more on the severity of the incident?

You get the penalty if you did NOT make the concession at the time, in the race.

Ideally the concession should be made before the following turn or just after the next turn... (from where the collision happened). Basically soon. You can't wait to flub up 1 lap later & call it a concession, for example.

So I mean if the concession was made far too much later, then maybe you would still get a penalty.

There would be little reason to give a post-race concession to someone who already made a concession, as far as I can think.

But an exception to where you might get a penalty, even though you made a contact concession is if your collision caused more cars to wreck than you made concession to.

For example, in Saturday's race at Brands Hatch Indy, 1 car spun out by accident, and hit 2 other cars, and because they were spun out, it caused 2 other cars that were not hit by the originator of the incident, to go off-track or whatnot. In that case the car that spun out & caused the crash, he made concession to 4 cars, he waited until all 4 cars were back on track & going, and got behind them. This was the right thing to do. 👍
But let's say he didn't notice one of those cars, and failed to make concession to one of them. Well then there would be a post-race concession.

Or, if you make concession to the wrong driver. I'm always worried I will be confused and make concession to the wrong car. :nervous: Sometimes it's difficult to know what happened at the time of course.

At any rate, the post-race concessions generally happen if:

Someone reports an incident (involving themselves or others as the offenders/offended) - and then someone looks at it (someone else if it involves me)
I happen to notice the incident in a replay by chance while I'm just watching a replay.
If a race was a bit wild so I take a look to see what collisions occurred.
Or if someone mentions the accident in the lobby or in the thread, I look to see.

I'm thinking that there will be times that a collision occurs, and maybe no concession was made but SHOULD have been made. But it's just that nobody reported the incident, and I don't watch every moment of every replay of every driver, so that's why it's important to report accidents.

Also peeps are encouraged to report incidents because I like watching the race incidents. :guilty:
(and taking photomodes! LOL)

That 507 is surprisingly good for the PP.

Nice car!
It's a real wild card.
Yeah I really enjoyed driving it at Nurb, interesting enough. It was fantastic fun, and it's really good going uphill.
It actually would be in the faster part of the list, if it's handling lent itself to more abilities.

It has what I call "combo steer".
It both understeers and oversteers. :boggled:

That's what the Skyline has too. (Only the Skyline is slower and just worse.)
