So I've just gotten myself a little Mobile Wi-Fi device (A MiFi) from 3, and bought a data sim contract for it today. Now I have a lot of data on it right now, more than the amount I'm due to pay for a month, but the thing is the contract doesn't technically start for another 4 days... So I'm now thinking two things....
1) That this data (plus the extra) is the data allowance that I will have, and retain, once my contract officially starts in 4 days time, and will not reset as the contract starts.
2) That this data is the allowance that I am being given to us up until the contract officially starts, and that it will not be retained, but will instead be reset to the proper amount once the contract officially starts in 4 days time.
Now, can anyone with a damn sight more savvy than me clarify which one of these theories is the correct one? If it is the latter, I would like to be able to exploit it in the little time I have remaining to do so, but I don't want to jump the gun and use up hella loads of it only to find that it doesn't reset itself and I have very little to last me well over a month....
