I received 10 infraction points for this:

https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/threads/tune-database.132702/

Now these never expire (it seems?) and I believe this was totally unjustified along with the abusive PM that duke sent along with those points (I never deleted it but I cant find it... Can anyone retrieve it?). What happened was that I posted a link to a site that was basically what the OP was proposing to build. I believe this is natural behavior and I really cant see how it was even slightly wrong let alone worth infraction points. If someone proposed a thread about building an app/database you knew existed, wouldn't you also link to it?

I'd like these points removed unless it can be explained to me how this could possibly be justified. Also I would like to bring up the issue of points not expiring. I do not consider it fair for a member to incur infractions over a decade to be banned along side a member who gets three infractions in a month. It is really not the same thing. Has the issue of points expiry ever been discussed?

This is from 2010 but I bring this up now because another mod has decided to give me another 10 points making 20 points in 12 years. I would not care if these points expired but they do not seem to.

An infraction from four years ago will not be reviewed. We do regularly issue expiring infraction points.

So do you consider it to be 'fair' that a member who has done really nothing wrong for 12 years should be 1/3 of the way to being banned, which will never expire, for absolutely nothing at all? I certainly do not. But anyway I'll abide by whatever you say.

I think he's saying that if you wanted it reviewed you shouldn't have waited 4 years.
