Hi The Gt Community !!!

I'm looking to mod my Driving Force Pro wheel in order to drift and I would like to know where I can get a Wheel adapter for the Driving Force Pro steering wheel in order to use
a real and bigger wheel ?

Thanks by advance.

Regards

I'm not sure you can. I know the G25/G27's have an adapter available but idk about the DFP.

You might want to consider upgrading your wheel to at least a Driving Force GT because the DFP might be a bit too slow and clunky. Installing a bigger wheel will only make it slower since it will probably be heavier. If you don't know what I'm talking about, here's a DFGT calibration:

And then here's a DFP calibration. The G25 in this vid spins at roughly the same rate as the DFGT if not a tad bit faster It still shows the massive difference between the two wheels:

But as shown here its still possible to drift with it, you'll just find yourself having to "throw" the wheel more often for it to keep up:

yes I think it is possible to drift with the Driving force Pro on GT6 and I would like to see some video but I don't found one on youtube.
Does anyone drift with this wheel can post a video please ?
Many thanks.

The last vid I posted was a drifting video of the DFP I found. I can give you some more if you like:
GT4

GT5 (200 degrees):

LFS (720 degrees):

Unfortunately GT6 doesn't support 720 degrees of rotation; it's either 900 or 200. 720 would be the sweet spot because it would compensate for the slower rotation speed of the DFP yet keep drifting manageable, somewhat challenging and enjoyable. I haven't seen a vid for GT6 yet but I'd assume it'd be a similar experience to GT5.

I use a DFP and don't think its possible/reasonable to drift with. If I were going to attempt drifting I would probably upgrade my wheel but cant afford it yet.

If you can't make friends with a machinist or find a Frex adaptor being sold used online, then... uh, make a disk out of a 1/4 ~ 1/2 inch thick hard wood and drill some holes in it? Mount the disk to the wheel's base with the four screws, and the wheel to the disk with six or whatever? Paint it flat black to look pro? Good luck!

GT6 doesn't need to support it, as long as your wheel supports it. https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/threads/g27-g25-dfgt-undocumented-wheel-lock-settings-guide.286646/

450 and 670 degrees work well with G27

@MSTER232 - Damn your sig... that is NOT awesome LOL.

Maybe I need to get the old DFP out to try this. Looks so easy in the videos
I actually caught people out with it before Christmas. People hate what is in the link  . Tell us how it goes with drifting if you get yourself a DFP.

Well strictly speaking that is only for the G series wheels and we're talking about a DFP here. Because the PS3 can't have the wheel drivers on it, you can't set the "soft-lock" to be less than 900. If your wheel has a way to change the wheel rotation integrated within the actual wheel and can work independently of driver software, then it will work on GT6. But because you need a driver to set DFGT/DFP its only 900 with DFGT and 900/200 DFP.

I still have my old one laying around in the basement somewhere just gotta dig it up. I figure the "slower" nature of it compared to my G27 might actually help me. I don't know. Worth an experiment.

And ya, I hate what's in the link

after you start the game and the wheel calibrates, press SELECT+R3+R1(right paddle). One of the lights should turn off and you'll be in 200 degrees

I've tried, but the gears get so noisy when I steer that quickly and it feels like I'm tearing the wheel apart. And it also detaches from the table more often.
