Model Automotive Competition #2

Thought I'd trial adding themes this week, so the theme will be simple to break everyone in to having to be more specific.

Theme - Pick out of:
American & European
American & Japanese
European & Japanese
Two cars to be photographed in the same shot.
*I will class Australia and the likes as European*

Rules:

-Scale - between 1:32 and 1:18
-Editing - only levels, contrast and adding a boarder/watermark (keep it as stock as possible)
-Photographs must not be a 'snapshot' but must include some composition and effect - Base the photo on a studio shoot, or even use diorama/composition to create a realistic setting (you could position the model and camera in such a way in an outside setting so that it appears to be a 'real' car)
-No HDR shots
-Shots must be taken between January 2008 and the present day - exceptions can be made as long as the photograph has not been shown before the competition e.g. unposted work.
-Picture sizes - Must be no longer than 400px on the longest edge, full sized images must be no longer than 900px on the longest edge

-Deadline for each week will be 6pm GMT on a Wednesday, poll will be up by 6pm GMT
-Voting will close on a Friday at 6pm GMT


-If I am absent for reasons beyond my control, I will need someone to fill in for me in running the competition for that week.




The next competition will take place on Wednesday 21th January.

I might be able to enter, but I will have to use a smaller scale than 1:18th, American and Japanese cars in 1:18th is something I lack. Also my shot would be delayed, I'm currently building a new studio/light box kind of thing so I'll have to wait till thats finished first! Hope others can enter some great shots!

I'll have to sit this one out, because I'm totally out of batteries - just had to buy two weeks shopping and forgot to bick some up... Sorry guys, it's my mistake.

Just to confirm, I will not enter this week, as I couldn't get hold of batteries. Seems my local shops have either run out or stopped stocking them which seems odd.

Aw man, I just this afternoon took my shots for this competition. Unaware it was finishing today at 6PM, I left it a bit just to relax rather than wack them into Photoshop yet. Oh well.

Sorry to hear this, I usually end up in a mad panik to close the entries and put the POLL up. Trouble is, 6pm is the only practical time for me to get the POLL up because I visit my Grandfather on a Wednesday night.
