Congrats to NISM0_SKYLINE. ^^ Thank you to all who voted.

Theme chosen by me this week, since I am in the middle of establishing this new format. ^^;


THEME: In his words: "Thought I would tie this in with the Automotive theme chosen by Scaff . Take a photograph of what's 'under the hood'. It doesn't have to be a extreme close-up, however. Just with the engine visible. Also, an interior shot of a closed car is also acceptable. "​

Rules:
-Editing - only levels, contrast and adding a border/watermark (keep it as stock as possible)
-Photographs must not be a 'snapshot' but must include some composition and effect - Base the photo on a studio shoot, or even use diorama/composition to create a realistic setting (you could position the model and camera in such a way in an outside setting so that it appears to be a 'real' car)
-No HDR shots
-Shots must be taken between January 2008 and the present day - exceptions can be made as long as the photograph has not been shown before the competition e.g. unposted work.
-Picture sizes - Must be no longer than 400px on the longest edge, full sized images must be no longer than 900px on the longest edge

-Deadline for each week will be 5pm GMT on a Wednesday, poll will be up by 5:30 pm GMT
-Voting will close on a Friday at 5:30pm GMT



The next competition will take place on Wednesday the 29th of July.

Hahaha...yeah. It'll probably just be me and you again. But I don't mind. I like your new shot better, actually.

I don't know what to choose, I think all of mine are pretty damn awful.

Anyway, I thought I would inform people that the closing of this contest (like the Automotive Comp) won't occur until 2 hours later than usual (7pm GMT), as I have a meeting earlier. So all those last minute entires...you have two extra hours to choose which to submit. And...I might retake my shot if I have time when I come back, but I doubt it.
