THEME: In 80Y 2C2's words: "Outdoor realism:
The cars have to be placed outdoors, but the shot must look as if the car were full sized, instead of a model."

I went for Longbow's because I was nitpicking and finding details in all the shots as to why they don't look realistic, and his came up trumps. 👍

Ahh, thanks. One of the most unrealistic parts of mine is the fact most snow isn't lit up with Christmas lights from within. :P

It was between Adam and Chris for me. I went with Speedster's because it fit the theme better.

Longbow - I have the exact same model, but in black. How did you get the door to stay open? I've tried opening the door for a shoot but it wouldn't stay closed. I had to use a toothpick to keep it open

Haha, I have exactly the opposite problem: my doors won't stay closed! They always pop open (or at least one does...), so I didn't even bother to try and close it.

Ah cheers, I'm not sure though. I think that piece of wood chip ruins mine, since Chris pointed it out to me on MSN I can't help thinking it's ruined the image. Oh and just so people know mine was taken in the rain, the waterdrops weren't on purpose

Oh and the subject of Murcielago doors, I know mine isn't a AutoArt but my Lamborghini's doors never stay up. Ever. Infact my Murcielago has a few design flaws. Such as the vents on the side of the engine open however to have them open you must have the engine bay lid open :indiff:

It doesn't ruin it - just because I don't particularily like it, doesn't mean that other people can't. It might add something that I'm missing.

The AutoArt models have a little spring or something in them to keep them up I think. Mine will stay up unless forced closed (one in particular doesn't like doing that). And that is an odd design flaw - I wanted the vents to be open in my shot, but one of them wouldn't stay open (maybe due to the cold?). However now I try it and it will stay open. Strange.
