Winner: Week 43 - Theme chosen by 80Y 2C2

modelcar007900tb.jpg

THEME: In their words: "Outdoor realism.:
The cars have to be placed outdoors, but the shot must look as if the car were full sized, instead of a model." (You know, like a car.)

Rules:
-Editing -Levels, Curves, Colour Balance, Brightness/Contrast, Hue/Saturation, cropping, or anything else capable in the development process or with filters and common special lenses are allowed to use in Photoshop or other image editing softwares. Other adjustments and effects are not allowed to be used in your picture. NEW! - Unsharp Mask

-Photographs must not be a 'snapshot' but must include some composition and effect - Base the photo on a studio shoot, or even use diorama/composition to create a realistic setting (you could position the model and camera in such a way in an outside setting so that it appears to be a 'real' car)
-No HDR shots
-Shots must be taken between January 2008 and the present day - exceptions can be made as long as the photograph has not been shown before the competition e.g. unposted work.
-Picture sizes - Must be no longer than 400px on the longest edge for the thumbnail image, (linked) full sized images must be no longer than 900px on the longest edge

-Deadline for each week will be 10pm GMT on a Wednesday, poll will be up by 10:30 pm GMT
-Voting will close on a Friday at 10:30pm GMT

The next competition will take place on Wednesday the 17th of February.

Thanks Chris. It kinda sucks being all cooped up and not being able to go anywhere. I probably already put back on the ten or so pounds I lost

I picked up a new model today, only a 1:24 but it's nice to have something different to work with. I should be able to get out and shoot tomorrow or maybe Tuesday. I need a new mem card though...

'Welcome. I imagine it would suck. :yuck: And....well hopefully not.

I'll take some shots for this, pretty soon, probably tommorrow 👍

Can't wait duuuuude.

SHUDDUP

I was very tired when I typed that, I didn't know how to say it properly. :P

It's wordy, but it gets the job done. And I only thought it was a little funny. :dopey:

I can't get creative with this snow, so throwback to the summer time. I don't really like it, but the reflection isn't too bad.

^ Why are you posting a shot of a real car? :odd: Just kidding. :P Looks so realistic. Nice entry. 👍

I know, eh? It is really quite impressive.

Guess it leaves it open for me to be creative in the snow. Hehe...

The reflection is siiiiiiick.

Nice shots NISM0, Chris, and Adam 👍

I don't think I'll be able to enter...I'm not particularly fond of the theme either.

Next week, then :D
