Hi guys, I have an old Logitech MOMO racing wheel

and I was wondering how does this compare to the DFGT? I remember both these wheels are close in price (the momo is about 30 bucks cheaper when they were both out) but why is the MOMO so less popular and so fewer people have it? Has anybody have experience on both and can comment on this? Also, has anyone upgraded to an expensive wheel like the g27 and how much better is the g27 over these wheels? Is it worth upgrading?

The MOMO is a PC wheel and not a Playstation wheel, so it was sold in less places and to a generally more enthusiast-based segment of the population. It's a good wheel, but for GT5 I'd use a DFGT, just because you have all the controls you need on the wheel. I like the look and feel of the MOMO myself. I don't know if the MOMO works on GT5 or not, but as all the other Logitech wheels work, it might.

I had that same MOMO wheel and I kinda miss it. Good features such as a gear shifter that can be moved to the LEFT side of the wheel. Larger paddle shifters. Solid construction.
I'm using a DFGT now, which is better for convenience with all the buttons and what not all over it. But you can always have a controller switched on the same time as the MOMO so you have menu control, and you don't even have to keep re-assigning it. I used the MOMO briefly for GTPrologue, but didn't have anything to mount it to at the time so it didn't get much use then.
If you already have a MOMO, then it's not really worth spending the money on getting a DFGT. the MOMO will do the same job.
