I just installed a new mobo and cpu the other day and everything was fine. Last night i had a windows update then none of my games had the option for 1080p@60hz only 59hz. I did notice a difference and want to know how to fix it. Anyone else ever run into this issue before? I'm using a 32" 1080p lcd tv as a monitor.

@JerseyDriverSS Need more detail's mate... but you could try

Right click on desktop go to resolution click advanced setting's

Adapter settings there is list all modes setting but if you hit the next tab you should see Hz in a drop box see if 60hz is there.

If it is should just be able to enable it and jobs a good un

Yeah kinda hard to explain. In screen setting on the desktop its set to 1920x1080@60hz, but in games when i go to set up the settings the only option i have to choose from is 1920x1080p@59hz and when that is chosen everything is real choppy. I've never had this problem before until i upgraded to windows 8.1 and it didn't start right away just after a update i got last night. I'm on the most recent drivers for my card. I'm just kinda stumped on this one.

PC specs are below if it makes a difference.

Try and install your graphics driver again, sounds like 8.1 copied over a file somewhere. i am also using a Tv as a monitor atm no vga on new graphics card grrrrr. it do sound strange what do your tv say when you press info display on the desktop via remote control? does it state 60hz?

@JerseyDriverSS Little side note, in case you didn't catch my post in the Assetto sub-forum - Assetto is apparently set up running everything (physics calculations, ffb, etc) in multiples of 50. People have found that 50/100Hz runs smoother than 60/120Hz. Lower refresh rate, but better sync.

some how it fixed itself when i turned the pc on the next day. I guess it was just a glitch in the matrix for that one night. But that is good to know for AC.
