Monstercat is a record label for many different artists, mostly EDM (including trance, dubstep, drum n bass, electro, glitch hop, etc.). A large majority of Minecraft YouTubers use their music and that's how I discovered them (you can also in the comments, they're a lot of Minecraft fans)

I got a copy of Monstercat -Aftermath- a few months ago... it was decent, but not great...

However, this song you guys posted... Pretty epic stuff right there!!! 👍

I remember finding out about Monstercat. I think it was Azuremen that posted a link to Rezonate-Pump it in the "What are you listening to?" thread. I love their channel and the artists they feature.

This song especially.



Then we have Kings of the City - Make me worse (Muzzy Remix). After discovering that song, I looked into the band behind the vocals and now they're one of my favorite bands. Sadly the lead vocalist passed away recently.

You can have free licensing to use Monstercat so a lot of Youtubers use them.

I know. There's a few record labels/artists (Approaching Nirvana being one of those artists) that do that. There should be more. Also, current labels like EMI & Ultra need to stop blocking non-monetized videos.

Varien has a song called Melodies of Memories Past. Its a nice orchestral piece, and it consists of some assorted Monstercat songs. Not sure of any others, but I assume that Varien might have at least one more.

I'm a huge fan of Monstercat. This is what electronic music should be, not that Skrillex bro-step 🤬!

I've been into Monstercat for many months now, came across it through my older brother. I like most of the artists, I could listen to some of these albums for hours! And that's coming from someone who doesn't care too much about music. I like the constant release of songs on YouTube, always something new to listen to the next day. And people are using it in their Minecraft videos? Kind of ruins the songs in my mind, what a shame.
