more drifting in gt3

wow i have had this game laying around my room forever and i remember me and my friend use to play 2 player in arcade and we would drift and i was actually pretty good at it, so i decided to play it last night and was looken on the computer seeing about it and found this site. i had never would have thought that this many people drift in this game watching some of these vids i see that im not the best lol, what kind of cars do you guys like to use? :)

NO YOUR NOT THE ONLY ONE THAT DRIFTS IN THIS GAME AS YOU CAN SEE BUT WELOME TO THIS GREAT SITE. YOU SHOULD TRY AND POST SOME VIDS. WHAT KIND OF CARS DO YOU USUALLY USE FOR DRIFTING IM JUST ASKEN BECAUSE IM NOT THAT GREAT AT DRIFTING AND NEEDS SOME HELP LOL. :)
 
Drifting in GT3 is very hard if your trying for the first time but if you really want to know my two cents I suggest thus:

Go to Trial Mountain with any car you have in your garage, I suggest anyther FR or if you have a FF Integra or Cvic Type R get that and race around with a friend, in Trial Mountain there is a straightaway that ends in a hairpin turn(Akina anyone? ^_^), try drifting that a few times, thats what got me to be pretty good.

One of the great tracks for drifting in GT3 like Trial Moutain and Apricot Hill. Personally I prefre Apricot Hill because the curves are round :)

For drifting, it depend how is you driving to choose the car to fit with it. Theres some cars that can fit with all types of driving like the Silvia (S13). But my favorit car is simply the 240SX, with good power and handling. Drifting is just all about control and good setups.

Keep training, and someday you'll get it :P
 
I drifted with Mustang Cobra, but now im trying to beat Viper GTS and Corvette C5R on Laguna Seca 200 miles Endurance Race. My car is Zonda C12S, full tuned 1000+hp with custom drift setup - racing slicks - very hard to drift, but fun is great. I got that Viper and Corvette but only for 30 laps and lost concentration.
 
Hehe. I remember how I came across this forum. I was looking for drift videos(or Trueno drift videos) and I came across Pergatory's site, and there was a list to this site, I got more interested in drifting. I like to use my Trueno S.S. and my C-West S15. I have others but those are my favorite(I think I should make my first video).For tracks, I like to use Complex String even if its really long because it has all kinds of turns, and the loops near the end help me practice keeping my drift going.And uhhh....Welcome!

This has nothing to do with drift, but if you highlight an emoticon or the smiles whatever you want to call them, the faces change. I like the NISMO 400r, because it looks so good on the replays i make. It also drifts pretty good. The general guide for good drifting cars in GT3 is anything RWD with at least 300bhp.
 
I have just discover this forum and I think I found paradise...!!! I am drifting in gt3 for 2 years now. My favorite track is complex string and my favorite car is a supra rz customized 500+hp, sim tyres. This of course doesn't exclude other cars like 240sx, sylvia, skyline etc.

Welcome to the forums! We really need more people to keep the GT3 side alive and well. You were asking about cars and all. When i first started i used a R34 skyline, then i went to a 400R. I tried RWD's but just couldnt get used to them for a while. The AWD's are easier to drift, but if you make a video the RWD's are best simply because they look better in drift, and people will respect a RWD drift more than an AWD drift. Because,its harder to pull off nicely. I use 240sx, Mustang, and Viper Oreca now. The viper was a real surprise to me, handles good with a nice setup. I also use sims on everything and everything is fully mod. I even used my gameshark to boost the hp on my 240 to if i remember about 900 hp. I just prefer high hp cars, i feint drift\power over. I love to Drift in GT-3.. I use a 240SX K's AERO(J)Great car to drift with.. Me and all my friends all make or own comp's and then we go and drift each other... Right now we got or own team's .... So we will find pepole that still play GT-3 and ask them to have a drift comp with us... And we bet thing's like MEM card's or something of that sort...
