More frequent crashing since 1.07

To get started, I have a second gen Fat PS3. Crashing/freezing frequency since I got GT6 has been once per week if I play more than a few hours per day, otherwise not an issue. Since the 1.07 update I have been getting frequent hangs on the disclaimer load screen - the one that displays prompt at the bottom for reviewing terms agreed upon. Today is the first time I've played on the Panorama track since the update and froze twice within a half hour as well as 2 hangs on the disclaimer screen between these freezes. I have minimal issues with freezing on other disc games except problem games like Fallout, and no crashing issues with digital games at all. These crashes were also all while in an online lobby.

My question would be if anyone else has noticed an increase in hangs or crashing after the most recent update? Especially online or while logged into PSN. I'm hoping others are having similar problems, otherwise I'll have to try deleting my game data and reinstall the updates in hopes something was just corrupted during download or install.

Mount panorama is the glitchiest/laggy track in the whole game, it has had problems from day one. Another you might have problems with is matterhorn dristelen, well I do anyway.

Generally I don't experience more crashes since the patch. There are 2 occasions though where it crashes always and repeatable that weren't there before:

1. If I leave a lobby where I'm not the host and I leave while the track is still loading, like after a voting. The game freezes then and has to be quit, often leading to a PS3 crash with double beep.
2. Upon starting GT6 I often manage to open the options panel from the right (to clean cache, which I routinely do before going online) before the popup with the login bonus showed up. After the game saves the login bonus, I'm stuck with the options panel and I can't do anything but quit the game.

Of course I could just avoid those, but I always forget about it...

i would say as usual, when i do a tune, get out to go on track but within a second decided to go back in the tune sheet
i experience a nice full freeze but the voicechat still work

Try this Clear your System Cache it may or may not fix your problem but try it. Click on options go to Network and then click on Clear System Cache and then save your game then quit to go your xmb screen and then start GT6 again and see if it solve your problem and this does not work delete your game data and not your save game data.

I know you're trying to help, but I've tried clearing system cache already and I know to not delete save data when deleting game data, since updates are in the game data only. I appreciate all of the feedback so far & I will continue to troubleshoot the freezing issue and, if it continues to get worse, I will do a fresh game data reinstall.

I did not have any issues with 1.07 update but you should do a fresh game data reinstall soon.

I've had very two crashes ever since I got the game a month or two ago, and both were before 1.07.
The first time it happened was at Tsukuba while i was messing about online, and the second was at the first corner of Route 5 forward while I was drifting my AMG Vision GT.
