more "secret" race cars?

i found that the lister storm is in the game by doing a race mod on that v12 i would like to know if there are an more of thoes cars.

the dodge intrepid, if you get racing mods it gets a big scoop and tail wing, it turns out to look like a drag. its not a "special car" but it is really cool

Well... the lister v12 is the lister storm even without the race mod - that´s his name not really a "secret" car there still what Speeding drifter is talking about are cars that get an... excentric racing moddification just like the tauros or the dodge. Quoting burnout "its not a "special car" ". Check it out if you want and see what we´re talking about. By the way Speeding drifter the citroên saxo changes into a kit car - nothing out of this world but cool nonetheless.

I´m not sure if the tauros gets the same mod in every version though.

thanks all but to clear things up in this game there are road versons of race cars (duh ) but when you do a racing mod you get a sorta famous race car aka lister v12 and xj220. i hope this cleared things up for everybody.

Yeah, there's the entire SuperTouring group, all of them are race-modded sedans. Yes, the Lister Storm is the only "non-special" racer in the pack of GT All-Stars. The Lotus Elise GT1 has a race-mod that isn't used by the AI, either.

There's the infamous CLK Race Car, if you have a GameShark, BTW.

oh I was thinking cars with unusual mods. Going with your idea you have the speed 12 that gets a mod just like the race version but with the road version horsepower that was "censored" by GT rules. Smart move from the programmers - beautifful mod as well; the dark blue headlights are amazing - helps creating the agressive look.

There's the '71 Skyline GT-R; it's just like the original. Quite a number of the race mods are historically accurate. So is the '89/'91 R32's race mod (Impul-Calsonic). The BMW 328Ci/328i is another. The Impreza's show off their Prodrive ancestry. The Viper GTS and RT/10 are others ('95-'96 LM race mods).

Supposedly, When you race-mod a ford taurus you get some NASCAR car. I've never tried it, because I could care less about NASCAR, so don't bite my ass off if I'm wrong.

Yeah, there is Mark Martin's #6 Taurus ('99 sponsors). However, it's not in all versions of the game (licensing issues).

lmao...the race modded lister storm dosn't just suck when the AI drives it, it sucks when i try to drive it too, at least against GT All Stars comp. But amazingly, in stock body form, it's one of the fastest, best handling cars, up there with the CTR2 Sport, Weigart, etc.

You found the lister storm by modding another car... but the lister storm is for sale, it isnt secret and you dont have to do anything to another car to get it. Everyone else seems to understand this, explaination please

yes and no.
it isn't built (in part) by Weigert, as the (Weigert Vector) W8 is. the M12 is all Vector. it's in the Vector Lineup.
