Just recently found out about this car, and now I must have one. Short of actually having enough disposable income to buy one (which I don't have) I would love for it to be in GT. It's exactly the oddball sort of car that I love about this series. And it would be a great test for the physics to see how they handled such a different vehicle. Please make this happen.

I feel very lucky to have been a passenger in one of these. A neighbours son works for a Morgan dealer and brought one of these over one weekend - he kindly gave me a ride. You sit very low and the car is very narrow - very similar to being in a Caterham. In traffic and going round roundabouts it didn't inspire confidence - it's so low and small you feel that other drivers might not see you.

The engine has an interesting design - it's a 2 litre V twin OHV S&S X Wedge with three camshafts, producing 115 bhp and 125 lb ft of torque and is linked to a Mazda MX5 (Miata) gearbox.

The car itself is based on Pete Larsens modern day American made interpretation of an early Morgan three wheeler which was called the Ace Cycle Car. Morgan bought the rights to this design.

Cool! Although, the official (and incredibly fancy) website disagrees with those specs.

Which ones Durian?

Morgan quote 140 Nm of torque estimated which is 103 ft lbs. The Driven test video quotes 125 ft lbs which is 169 Nm. It is possible Morgan are quoting torque at the rear wheel after transmission losses.

Morgan also quote 525 kg, but when tested it was 550 kg - perhaps Morgan quote the dry weight excluding all fluids.

I don't know really, it's very hard to figure out which is true.
Never mind, all that matters is it has 3 wheels, a motorbike engine with somewhere between 80 and 120 bph, and is a huge bucket of fun.
