Motor Toon Grand Prix (KY's first PSOne game) now on PSN

I was actually impressed when I saw this. I never expected to see this PSOne classic on the PSN, maybe this means we'll get GT and GT2 in the future? Perhaps close to the release date to increase the hype!

I still have MTGP2 for PS1, the game was really cool and had some amazing hidden features and options. You could change the animations from the cars, the wallpaper from the main menu and unlock mini games like Battleships or a 3D tank battle game.

I remember a nightmare I had when I rented the game at Blockbuster years ago. It's not funny when a 6 year old is getting run over and eaten by a red car with teeth (returned it the next day out of fear). Maybe I'll buy it for laughs.

motor toon grand prix was a physics test for KY . i remember him saying that in an interview inthe mid 90's. If i could find that damn playstation underground cd... i'd upload it.

It's probably 'Motor Toon Grand Prix 2' that was released as 'Motor Toon Grand Prix' in the USA. The original 'Motor Toon Grand Prix' was only released in Japan. So this is not "KY's first PSOne game" .

Maybe you should download it and find out. Maybe it IS MTGP. Maybe they translated the first game and released it on PSN.

I guess it's very slightly related to the GT franchise, after all it could be a precedent and an indication that GT and GT2 might be released on PSN. Either way I wasn't really sure where to place the topic.

There was a bonus in the game called Motortoon R, it was the test bed for GT1. I wonder if anyone will try to unlock it.

GT1 and 2
Ridge Racer Type 4?

loved this game, wasn't Motortoon R on the 2nd disc so wonder if included as it says some aspects play different, pretty tricky to get as well if i remember and then only 1 car on time trial.

Wasn't motortoon supposed to be a bonus in GT5 would explain why this release is PS3 only.

some excellent shortcuts in this game which are car specific, one with the space craft clear hald the island and land on cliff side road good days
