Motorsport Elise

I hate the Motorsport elise, you can barely tune it, but in some free races they are competing with the gt-one. very odd

Oh Yes, the motorsport Elise.

1. Horribly unstable when fully tuned
2. Not race-moddable and is not counted as race-modded.
3. Wastes 100,000 credits

The only piont of it as far as I can see is to have the spoiler and blacked-out lights

Off Topic: I'm sure you know this, I check the Nissan Used Car lot every 2 days, and there is never a 240Z, There is a 240SX or something, but not a 240Z

Skynyrd- do you know how to get the Motorsport Elise OVER 400 HP?

You need to hybrid that car to get 400+ hp....and that requires a GameShark to do so. 300+hp is plenty for that car, it's a tricky one to drive in any case. It is rather silly that a non-street legal car not would have possible racing modification, whereas the street Elises can.

Knowing Skynyrd, he's probably got a 4000hp hybrid MS Elise...

They say in the information that the Motorsport Elise was specifically designed for factory-sponsored races, but it can't compete in the racing ones!

that elise bites. Way too tail happy for such a weeny engined car. sounds like a lawnmower running on NoS too. Dont worry about the unobtainable 240z in the used car lot. Ive been waiting for 150 days for a 22b, and still bubkas

That thing looks best in neon lime green. I never had much trouble with handling; but then, never had much trouble with any Lotuses.

don't know about skynard, but i do...but it has a fto LM chassis and a lot of downforce, so it handles pretty decent

Anyone has very good settings for this %$*@ Elise?

Mine is quite good in corners, I got rid of the tail-happy reactions but it can be very unstable on bumpy roads. I did a few laps on the lovely grinderwald and every corner was fine....the problem is the fast windy part...one bump and it goes spinning like a tasmanian devil...

i've run the $&#&$*@ motorsport Elise on tahiti road (quite bumpy one.isn't it?) what u can't believe is i even use handbrake at the last turn before finish!!!^~~~~~and -----it doesn't spin at all! but before that ,i spent more than half an hour to tune it . here it is: tires: f s/r s
spring: f 9.3/r 9.1 (i didn't do any thing with dampers: F bound:7 rb:7/ R b:7 rb: 7)
height: F 75/ R 89 .
camber:F 2.1/ R 1.0.
toe: F 0.00/ R 0.05.
stable bar : F 3/R 4
LSD: int: 6, accel: 40, dec: 30.
that's it.

Thanks for the info,

they're quite close to my setting apart from the LSD and dampers, it really handles well. I did not want to buy the GT1 model (despite having 7.9 millions) for I prefer racing with mid powered cars. Well...exception made of the cerbera LM, Speed12 ,R390 road car & RX7-GTC...the last two can be tuned to any power stage and race most of the events...they're so cool!!
