I'm almost certain that was from the N24 last year, unless a carbon copy of those shenanigans happened in the NLS recently.

It's a bit weird that the last 2 or 3 have thrown up their own slapstick moment (BMW with the bonnet up slowly driving into the pit lane partition springs to mind).

Never saw this incident before it randomly appeared on my Youtube last night. The super slow mo replay at 6:28. No idea how Tony Longhurst was able to walk after that impact. His head and neck bounced around like a rag doll. Thank goodness for HANS devices these days.

The current gen Porsche Cup cars flip so easily off wheel to wheel contact, happened multiple times in the Australian series.

I'm assuming the driver isn't critically injured so I have to say, flipping backwards under is always looks so awesome, I can't deny that. The way the car rotates in the opposite directon to the overall travel is mesmermising. Tim Harvey was right, amazing how much speed and momentum there is even at the slowest corner with cars like that.

Reminds me of this crash in Brazil in 2022. From the first shot, the cars look so unbelievably slow and you'd never expect a crash this big from such slow speeds.

Brad Jones' Ozemail Falcon from the early 2000s comes to mind.

He would roll-over at two consecutive rounds, leading to his team presenting him with an upside-down cake 🤣

Yeah, I was thinking that - not often you see Coca-Cola sponsoring a team, but it's not a logo which suits the side of a racecar that much.

For Coke products? About once a year in NASCAR do we see a car with the main sponsor of Coca-Cola (or Coca-Cola Spice this year).

Coca-Cola have been the main sponsor of a Supercars car or team for about 5 years or so now, in addition to past sponsorships, and last year the Coke sponsored Erebus team won both titles:

That was indeed the most recent international one, it was a Bob akin tribute as part of the IMSA 50th Anniversary year (specifically for that race after mostly running the Brumos Racing Tribute livery first shown at Daytona). One of the cars even showed up to the Talladega Race the next day to do an big burnout as part of the pre-race festivities.

I'm just surprised that it isn't or hasn't been more common internationally. It lends itself well for a touring car livery and would have been great on 1990s Formula One sidepods.

They're still on board with McLaren. But generally speaking they're always a bit "lower" in even years due to their huge invests in soccer for euro and worldcups. Guess these huge campaigns often slow down other appearances.
