What are some cars you bought that were inspired by cars from a movie?

For starters, i got a green GT350 stang because of Bullitt. That chase scene is pretty insane. Also got a GT500 because of Eleanor. I love that movie. Also got the Supra because of F&F.
 
Vette_7t9 - This really should be in either the Rumble Strip or Cars in General. Not really sure where.. But this is not the place ;) You can move it thyself with the Admin button in the lower right corner...

Anyway - We bought a Saxo 1.4i because of ehhh... Uhhhmmm.. seemed to have slipped my mind at the moment :odd:

I disagree there old boy. Definitely not in Rumble land, and not in CiG as vette was referring (i think) to GT2 cars bought.
 
i bought a gt500 cos the cars beautiful :), also because it looked gorgeous in 'gone in 60 seconds' it's a pitty they didnt have the 1969 gt500 in gt2 :(...well theres always gt4 to see if they have the 69 gt500
 
I didn´t get it because of the movie since I had it before that but I really liked seeing the tuscan in operation swordfish
 
I think what vette_7t9 ment is did you buy any cars in Gran Turismo that were in films, which is what I ment with the red Mini. Of course, I could be completely wrong.

yeh but thats not an official list, its a list of cars us gtplaneters thought will be included in the game
 
yeh so did i at first, until i they said it wasnt the real list later on in that forum, any how it's an awsome list of cars to even think could be in gt4 :drool:
 
trueno hehehe, initial D. If I were to pick an initial D car, I would pick that lancer, juz cuz it has the mis firing. Very cool sht.

Heres sumtin off topic:
I was inspired to get the saleen SR and mod my stang to look like tim allens cuz i saw the races and burnout tapes and that was way cool. I got the nascar taurus and started doing laps around super speedway and test course in 99 lap race just for kicks.

BACK ON TOPIC:
Watching many movies with fed cars and cop cars, i decided to get some black BMWs like the one in gone in 60, and some other fed car look a like BMWs.

Yes, it was in "You Only Live Twice", it was the JDM model, and Bond did NOT drive it. The girl did (the one that died in the middle of the movie).
