How do I important my Internet Explorer favorites to my Mozila browser?

I did it before, but I can't seem to be able to do it now. My internet got cut off for a few hours and when I ran Mozilla after, all my preferences were deleted, which was extrememly annoying. If anyone knows how to save my preferences permenantly to avoid ocasions like this, that would be helpful too. Thanks

To import IE favourites, you need to have the links to all your favourites stored in a HTML file. Importing this HTML into your Mozilla browser will bookmark any links in that file.

There are heaps of tools that will grab your favourites and put them in a HTML file for you. I attached one for you.

As for saving your preferences, I don't really know how you'd do that. But if you keep that HTML file, you should be able to import your favourites if that ever happens again.
