Mozilla Firebird - Shockwave Player Plugin

Okay, I got Mozilla Firebird but now I'm having trouble with the Shockwave Player Plugin. I installed it once already, and it worked fine, than after I restarted the next day it tells me I have to download the plugin but I already installed it. So blah, I download and install it again. Log Off... Log back on a couple hours later and same problem!. Any help?
 
Are you installing the plugin to your /MozillaFirebird/Plugins directory?
 
it doesnt give the option where to install it, it just installs it. I got all the other plugins working except for this one and its a problem because I usually go to sites that require it :(
 
Where'd you download the plugin from?
 
macromedia or wherever its from, dont remember but I have the setup file in my documents and I even tried putting that file in my plugins folder after installing it to.. still no go :(
 
The one I downloaded came from netscape.com I think. I'll have to look again.
