Vote which?

Most of the people voted for the first alternative.
In the eyes of a sientist this means that were controlled by how jealous we are.

Only an extremely ******g stupid scientist.

Anyone reading that would be able to work out that $138,000 > $78,000.

Very few people are distracted by how much their spouse earns and only want to reach the top of the pay scale in their own career.

If you are in a fair relationship where you share most things, why does it matter who earns more money? As long as you can afford the better things in life..together.

I think most people were effected by your comment in the first post, and didn't want to seem greedy over the 'net.

Still, the more family income the better.

I wouldn't care how much my wife made. If she made more than me, great! Good for her.

I disagree – I voted for the 2nd choice, because I'm absolutely selfish. Wanting more money's considered selfish, right?

By the time I figured out what the poll wording meant, the choice was obvious.

Mo' money is mo' money. Even if we have separate checking accounts, I'm still $10 large better off. And if she likes to share, I'm about $26 large better off.

Heh, I stared for about 5 minutes at the poll options before I figured out what they meant... I thought it was a trick question at first.

My wife makes a lot more than I do. I've got no problems with that because I make plenty and it's all our money.

I might have problems with me if I weren't pulling my weight...

I had initially no clue what this poll was about. I currently make more than my spouse but in the future that may well change, as she's a Ph.D and I'm not even an M.A. :P

I wouldn't mind at all. In fact, I'd even stay home and raise the kids given half a chance.

I completely agree with danoff and Arwin. As long as you're nor on the couch when your wife is at work, who cares who makes more? My wife makes double what I do and I still make enough for a 2400sf house. Of course it helps that she gets a $5 an hour bonus for working nights on the weekends.

what horrible presentation of what this thread is about.... 👎 i had read down about 5 or 6 posts to finally figure it out. and now that i know, the second choice is obviously the better one...... more money is more money.

I just wish my significant other would make so much more so I could just retire and concentrate on souping up old Kawasakis.....
