How much longer can his reign go on? The formailty of an 'election' take place sometime late in the year, rumoured to be exactly because Mugabe has cancer and wants to be voted in before it kills him, and his rival from the previous election and current Prime Minister Morgan Tsvangari wants a new constitution. Good luck mate...

Stopping a black leader taking white farms and giving them to the indiginous people, that would go down well in todays world wouldnt it
Regardless of what he was in the 1970's he is now a madman and his racial policies have ruined his countries infastructure. Now hundreds of thousands of acres of farmland lie fallow and his ex military thugs live in farmhouses that are starting to fall apart.

Striked the irrelevant parts. Doesn't matter what colour he is or what colour the people he is oppressing are, what he's doing is wrong. He's oppressing minorities, but your post seems to indicate that that's okay if the minority is white people. Surely that's not right?

And most white people in Zimbabwe were born there. Doesn't that make them natives as much as anybody else? Zimbabwe isn't the emigration hotspot that it used to be.

Better yet... It shouldn't matter whether the oppressed people are minorities or the vast majority. Oppression is (should be, at least) immoral and ethical without regard to race, age, or % of population. Majority/minority is becoming obscure these days.

Mazdaprice- I didnt agree or disagree, I was making the point that if the UK intervened can you imagine the outcry from the rest of the world considering our colonial past and the 'delicate nature' of the race question. My point still stands, he is a madman who has ruined his country.
