There's a great thread of composite images here.
Basically, you need to pick a Photo Travel location where you can get multiple cars in the frame without moving the camera from the starting position. You can change focal length (using the triangle menu, not the sticks), but if you change the camera location at all, you won't be able to make it work. You then notate all your settings (aperture, shutter speed, aspect ratio, etc.) - so they stay the exact same for each car in the composite - and start to work. Take the multiple photographs into Photoshop (or GIMP, or some other photo editing application that supports masking), and composite them together. Here's one example (though it's also HDR, which added a few layers of complexity):
