I raced a few times with feutz in GT5P and also had some chats with him. He´s 15 years old and doesn´t have a driving license so no need to use a second ID to get an antvantage
I have heard from a few mates that some people are using multi psn ids for time trial,as to try and protect there position. However i dont know how true this is,but i guess it may be happening, does anybody else know of this?.is there anyway that this could be detected.
So you see, DHolland could make 20 ID's, and take the top 20 in the Australian board, and yet he can STILL only enter ONE TIME.
OR, he could find 19 mates and set times with all their psn id's, then they could register for the national finals, probably play terrible and then he wins easy
Obviously he does not need to do this as he is a fantastic player and will do well anyway. But I suspect this tactic may be used by a few gamers - ie posting laps on friends accounts and letting them go to the nationals and lose easily.
For example, in Ireland at the moment I'm over half a second ahead of second place. I could easily do close to my best laps again on various accounts. But obviously then suspicions would arise if 19 new players came from no where in a few days and entered the top 20 lol
At the end of the day, qualifying is one thing, but the national finals are completely different. Anything can happen on the day - nerves and luck will play a big factor. If you are going to cheat to get that far, I don't think you will have any luck on the day.
Will all due respect, you may qualify for silverstone comfortably but compared to many other drivers from different countries your be one of the slowest overall (according to times so far).
I think one could try, but it's instant DQ if they find out.OR, he could find 19 mates and set times with all their psn id's, then they could register for the national finals, probably play terrible and then he wins easy

Impossible. For all we know know he could be better than the likes of micheal schumacher if he was given the chance (takeuchi).
Dont hate? whats that about who i am i hating? Dessy? lol ok sure (cough 0.8 up) which is lightyears in motorsport.

If I was claiming that I was the best driver here or something I could see why you would keep going on about this, but I am not. I am first in my country, and the competition is to find the best 1 or 2 gran turismo gamers in each country. It just so happens that Ireland has a leaderboard that is very slow, probably due to lack of interest in racing sims here and a small population.
I bought GT5P on the 3rd of December. I heard about the competition and said I'd go for it. A week later I bought a wheel. I practiced until the demo and did my best to learn fast. I have improved so much over the last few weeks - going seconds faster than I thought was possible at the start. So to be fair, considering I am relatively new to this I think I'm doing just about right.
Thanks for the negative feed back though, It only motivates me more

of course its possible. if you think being good at a video game is any indication of how good a driver someone is IRL you need your head checked.
well done on your time btw. see, its that simple.
Your the only one who thinks so, you make it sound like it is luck or something... i think its just an excuse because your multiple seconds off.
And Dessy thats not bad going in just under 2 months to be fair, chances are next year you'd be alot better then.
Although before GT Academy i had about a hour use with the wheel in the last 6 months, aint been playing it atall before this.
I know he is 15 & not old enough to drive but why does that mean he has no need for a second ID? He doesn't need to crash into everyone he encounters but he still does it, he is a cheating little b:censored:d. I can't be certain they are both the same person but there is a lot of evidence that suggests it.
no one thinks that being good in the game is proof that your a fast driver because its a simply not true. as for the rest of your rubbish im multiple seconds off because i use the controller (119 in the world last time i checked ) and i hadn't played any GT for months until the demo came out.
theres no need to back track either, dessy and everyone else knows his time is excellent and your just digging a hole for yourself.
