I watched a 50 lap race on Daytona, and this driver didn't pit until lap 32. His tires were almost gone, but they all decreased evenly. He was riding the high side and I've seen him go low on the turns a few times while low on rubber. He was using Soft tires which give extra grip to prevent losing even more tire on the turns from skiddi
I can go 28 laps, but my back right tire always goes out before my other tires. I ride as smooth as possible and always have my car steady. I have also done a 90 lap race, and I managed to pit 4 times instead of 5 like everyone else and managed to hold the lead. Pitting every 20-23 laps pending. I know I only have to pit 3 times if I get the setup right. Filling up the gas tank in pit stops of course.
Anyone know any good tune ups for Nascar to ride hard and equally lose rubber. I can then fine tune it once I'm in the ballpark.
