Does anyone have any suggestions, we had 2 PS4's on the same network, created a lobby on PS4 A and tried to join on PS4 B, but PS4 B would not join and eventually came up with the time-out error.
We tried the reverse with PS4 B creating the lobby and PS4 A trying to join but the same results.
Both PS4's had their own PS+ accounts.
We were connected to WIFI (didn't have cables long enough to get to the router.
Has anyone had two consoles playing the game at the same time and be able to join the same lobby?

Haven't tried it myself, but I would first try and rule out the wifi as being the issue here. If possible to grab any hdmi monitor, ethernet cable, etc. for a quick test. Both accounts are from the same local region I'm assuming? Not an AUS and US account?

Yeah, we thought it might be the wifi, didn't have cables long enough at the time. Yeah, both same region.

Will have to test again next time I can take my console to their place again!

maybe someone has tried it and can confirm it does in fact work on ethernet.

Oh, it definitely works on a PS5 and a 4; that's how I play my family. Split screen pretty much sucks, so I looked into lobby. Tunes work, penalties on, race specifications made, and no sharing of screen. Works so well I'm really wanting a third cockpit; just wish I could add in some AI also.

So how are you connecting your multiple consoles to the internet?
Are they cabled in or connected to wifi?

Nice to know it is possible

Yup:

Static IPs in particular will help massively.

Wired in to my router. My cockpit is already in the living room, and we just move in the other cockpit, TV, and PS4, when we want to race (like playing in the same room).
