Well since I'm in the States, I can't pick a skyline or anything because that would be expensive. Since I'm only 17, I had to pick something fast but cheap for me. I got the car with 80k miles on it and it was completely stock with no spoiler, and just a blow off valve.

I got a spoiler for my 16th birthday and it all started then. I started working and getting money and bought an intercooler. All my money was going towards my car. I then bought new cams, bigger turbo, etc. My car was finally coming together.

Last month I had it dyno'd with some of it's problems. It had a boost leak, wasn't running as strong, and wasn't tuned. My baby still pulled through and it ran 347 hp at 18 pounds of boost. I've since tuned it and fixed the boost leak, so it should be running around 400hp.

My car has come a long way, but it's here and it is my daily driver.

And this is my latest picture of the car (taken 2 weeks ago):

I've always had a soft spot in my heart for these cars. They're really cool. Don't get yourself into trouble and keep the shenanigans on a track. Enjoy it :)

Nice car man:tup:. So did you get the car when you were 15?

I got it like 3 weeks before my 16th birthday. I've always been cheap with my money and saving. Ended up getting a great deal on it, for 6 grand.

Sweet. I have always liked these things. They run really strong and look great in my opinion, some of the best bang for the buck you can buy. I also love the color of your car, and of course the mods, 400 horses is a handful and a half in one of these, I've been in a couple that should be pretty equivalent to your car (around 400-450 hp) and they pull really hard. One of them looked almost exactly like your car, carbon stuff and all, but was orange.

There is a very very strong following here in Mexico of these things, to the point where one of the fastest track cars in the country is a SRT4 with a twin turbo engine pushing out almost 700 horses, all empty inside, with a claxon similar to the General Lee, lol.

Also, you have some deep pockets for 17 a year-old.

I had one of these, 2003 in red. (not for long though)

Was fun while it lasted. Was my first manual transmission car. If I ever got another one it would be the same blue color, or a white or orange ACR.

It's not the fact that I have deep pockets. I just know what to spend my money on. Ive been around cars almost all my life, and now I still go to car meets every week. Cars are just one of my few loves.

And I went to Cancun last summer. I've never seen so many exotics in my life, didn't expect that from Mexico.

Looking good. Do you have a dyno graph to post? I wouldn't mind checking it out. I've thought about getting one of these as a toy, but after my experience with my old Daytona Shelby Z, I won't be quick to jump back into a turbo Mopar.

I wish I did, but I don't. I've since lost the graph. I'm thinking of dynoing it again sometime in the future.

Please tell where you work. I need money, especially if it can pay for an SRT4. Insurance must be ridiculous on it though.

Looks really good! 👍

That car would be the ultimate sleeper over here in Europe.

I have never really liked the body styling of these cars but this one looks good. I like the paint colour, wheel style and colour and the black bonnet. Ride height is good too.

It's not just a black bonnet, it's carbon fiber. And I work as a mechanic's assistant at NJ Transit. I don't get paid much, but it gets me through life. It runs mid 11s on street tires, would be amazing in game, but I can't tune like that.

It's a bit hard to tell the bonnet is carbon.

Mid 11s is fast. I have no idea what my car could do but it does 0-100kph in 9 seconds.

Maybe you can tell from this picture:

And here's a picture of my car with my friend's 750 hp supra:

Here are a coupe of cool videos of his supra:

Second video shows him beating a GT-R on a roll.

I'm always surrounded by cars, my friends all have fast cars. My friend's supra, my other friend's turbo cobalt, and my other friend's supercharged mustang.

Out of curiosity how old is your friend with the Supra?

He's 21 almost 22. When I was a freshman in high school he was a senior, and I made friends with him. He got a lot of money when his grandfather died, so that's how he was able to afford the supra. He honestly spent a lot of money on that car, somewhere are 70 thousand. He bought it a stock, non turbo, 5 speed manual in 2009 and started working on it.

Have you ever been to Maryland International Raceway? When I went there my dad and I were looking at a blue SRT4 with a carbon bonnet and black rims. Was that you?

Nice SRT4, always loved 'em. I like the little Mopar badge you have there. :)

Good luck finding an ACR. :P Let alone a white one. Unless there's a bunch of them down in Arizona for sale.

No, that wasn't me. I go to the Englishtown drag strip in New Jersey. There are a lot of blue SRT4s though. I know 3 people with blue SRT4s, mine just happens to be faster.

Your car is pretty nice. My dad has a bone stock '05 white one that he's babied since bought it new. Looks brand new still.
