My 1st Livery attempt. Viper GT3

Hi all,

Thank you for everyones help on how to update liveries for a car. Here is my first attempt at the GT3 version of the Dodge Viper. Please let me know if you have ideas what to tweak as in logos, decals, colours etc. Im not sure what sponsors to use also just went with the white versions to go with the car in a way. I made 2x versions with the new logo on the side and the old fang logo on the side. Each is being shared for others who want to use the livery and happy to change the colors if others want different variations of it.

I want to make a blue color like the gts blue version but I cant find the hsv combo anywhere on the web for it. Wasnt sure if to make the decals white also but didnt mind the grey personally

If I was to critique, I would tweak the snake logos some. Feels like they are a little crowded on that back corner. I might either shrink them a bit or move to say the rear of the door in front of the wheel well. But of course this is yours so do as you will!

For the GTS blue I would check to see if one of the flake chips from the mileage exchange would work for you. Those show under "special colors" when you go into the paint interface if you haven't found them already.

Thanks for the tips, I also thought the logos on the side looked too big I tried to make them smaller but was hard to fit in the rear without chopping bits of the snake head. I might try work with it more and shrink the logo and see if I can fit in somehow where you mentioned. I wanted to make it look similar to that HPI Viper GTS RC Car with the logo on the back.

Also for the paint chip its so weird I cant find this menu where to buy special color paint chips. I went to the Mileage exchange part to buy the paint chips and it has only like 8 paints for sale I cant find others available I think Im at the wrong place.

You can only use the Mileage exchange colours to paint you car but not for decals and you only get a bunch of 8 or so every week to buy.

Ok thanks for that, I havent found a paint chip that is close enough to the stock blue vipers. Gosh I wish some site had the color code or GT made it easy to find paint chips by naming after said vehicle than some random letter and number

The available chips in the exchange will rotate every week during the maintenance window. Most are "GT" colors in that they are not car specific but I've seen that there are usually 2-3 manufacturer colors. The only blue so far has been Ford Performance Blue which is definitely not close to Viper GTS blue. I have a B7 Large Flake that would be passable until something closer comes along but if you don't have it you're probably better off mixing up your own HSV color with a metallic finish.

According to this page, the HSV is a 215-85-61, which translates to about a 60-85-61 in GTSport. And here is everything "viper". I'm curious to see if you think those are close. Could be a good resource for people if it works out.

awesome thanks for that Ill check it out tonight to confirm if its closer. I did search for viper decals as it is my daily habit to see what people upload and someone put a blue decal which I used on my latest updates to the cars which are also shared now with some more logo tweaks on the car via Discovery option. So far that decal seems ok but I will try this color code if it matches up better
