pretty good vid. :D 👍
normal dirft vid. nothing too special. still there was some very nice smoke for it not being sim tires. 👍

I never understood why smoke is such a big deal, or why it's even judged on. Here's why. Smoke has nothing to do with driver skill. Why should the fact that my tire choice makes more or less smoke affect my score? Secondly, I could **** up on every turn, yet still get full points just cause of smoke. Now tell me how that is fair to the other driver(s)?

you're right, i don't think it has anything to do with driver skill. but exhibition drifting is about looking good, no? that's what smoke does, it makes your drifts look better.

its wierd usually smoking your tires in a drift isnt such a good idea because tire wear is massive.. but in this game its sometimes the only way to drift because you have to have such a low entrance speed for them not to smoke..

I agree. That's why style, control, and angle are worth more points than smoke. When I judge, it's the last thing on my mind and I don't really let it effect the score too much, unless you have a noticably different amount of smoke from everybody else...less or more. Even then, you'd only gain or lose around a .5 to 1 point and that's not really a big deal. I wouldn't really worry about it.

When drifting in the real world there are plenty of times where a high angle drift has little or no smoke. I even have videos of them on my PC. Honestly I don't see a reason to judge smoke anyways. Because it depends on the tires, and not neccessarily the angle and if 2 cars are drifting at the same angle and speed and one so happens to magically have more smoke, it can cost u points. It seems unfair to me.
