It's called constructive criticism, in the world outside the imaginary shiny-happy world where everyone gets along. Suggestions on what could be improved, or what isn't too flash hot.
Personally, that looks like the kind of junker I'd buy for my kid as his first car, but whatever floats your boat.

not one of the nicest 86's I have ever seen, but defintely nice. Some kouki bumpers and a J-blood rear bumper skirt, wheel spacers and a better suspension setup would do wonders, but not bad for what it is. I am guessing the rims are 15x6.5 or 15x7? Nothing wrong with them, they look nice that size if u ask me, even if they do look a tad too after-market (wheels should blend with the design of the car imo, but then thats in the eye of the beholder). Great car *thumbs up*. I have one, but its an SR5, and all stock so far (cept for the wheels, but they came with it, lol). Not a bad steal for $1,200: www.2epiphany.com/ae86.html
Most likely its a GTS, kuz thats a 4AG-E in it, SR5's came with the 4AC motor in it, but it could be an sr5 - gts conversion, which is possible, kuz i think sr5's came with black bumpers and the gts had bumpers that matched the paint on the car, might have been painted after the conversion..who knows... and sr5's and gts both have the chassis code of ae86 on the firewall, but i think on the gts vin# it says ae88, dont quote me on that though

So, as it stands, if he can't take people saying they don't like something about his car, he shouldn't have put pictures of it up in a public forum where people are allowed to freely comment on it. Moreover, if you can't take people saying things about his car, you really need to calm down.

All im saying is thats not really a nice way to greet someone....besides some of the people posting there opnions dont even drive

hey fellas it's all good... to each his own, if everybody liked everything about it it wouldn't be mine,, it'd be generic... as for the car ,,it is an original gts, the wheels 15x7.. this helped with the gear ratio, driving it every day everywhere i went i found out that cruising at 5000 rpm really used up the gas. so the taller tires helped some.. tell u what though, it's about as fast as a 4age could be for na. i can use all 7800 rpm's in 5th gear. thanx for the comments guys. great forum

oh an dby the way ark.. it's the kind of junker i've had since new.. and probably have too much money in for you to be able to buy for your kid, either way if it comes that then maybe you can buy him what i drive when i don't want to smoke hondas and acuras. or maybe not, it's just a lexus is 300. either one of my cars floats my boats,, if u want to really talk cars then we can talk about my rotary powered 1972 datsun 210.. it only does the eight mile in 6 seconds and cover the 1/4 mile in 9.
