My cuz's first Solo Vid

The drifting was very uncontrolled...... I think he inherited your countersteering problem..... Also, the editing was pretty cheap, but I can tell you didn't put that much time into it, probably because it's just his first vid..... Anyway... He needs to work on smoothing out his countersteering, does he use both analog sticks, or at least the left for steering? If so, he should work on being more dellicate with the left analog stick, instead of throwing it back and forth like crazy.....

So:

Editing: 5/10
Drifting: 6/10

Keep the vids coming, Catch... I am interested in seeing Chris's progress... Once he smoothes out the countersteer, and works on better control......

i never noticed how bad the countersteering was til u mentioned it..

Thanx for the comments guys... I will relay what you guys said to him... and like I mentioned before... this is only the beginning.. so expect to see an improved second vid.. in the near future :)

SD, editing I think wasn't that bad considering the odds... this is some new video editing software im trying, as you can tell and the type of song makes it difficult to synchronize the clips to the music.

When syncronizing clips to the music, you need to remember that you don't have to sync it with specific parts in the song... As long as the clip changes, with a drum beat, or something else dynamic, it will look, and sound professional.......

What program are you using?

BTW, I just noticed, that my first post, might have seamed a little harsh... I don't mean to come across that way, I'm just trying to give feadback, that can be used to improve his skills......... I think it was a very good start..... He has a good understanding of a racing line... He just needs to work on smoothing out the countersteering, and just smoothing out overall control......

I'm all too familiar with synchronizing, as seen in all my previous vids, so in that category im not a newby. Also, timing of the beat, using either kickdrum, percusion, bass, etc is second nature thanx to my early DJ-ing days... anyway.. I'm also not 100% satisfied with the editing.. but as I mentioned before.. against the odds.. it was aaaaight IMO... :)

Program I'm using at the moment is Pinnacle Studio 8... the switch to Abode Premiere is coming soon :)

Yip, smooth countersteering is priority and we will definately work on that. Once again.. thanx for the comment man.. it is valued...

Ok, I didn't realise you were using a new program...... However, I know you can edit better, so I'm just trying to push you to take more time on it, and make sure the editing is on point (because I know you can)....

Pinnacle Studio 8 is one of the best simple, user friendly movie editing tools.... When you get used to it, and figure out all the different tools, you will love it.....

Adobe Premier is a much more indepth editing program, though.... but it has a much more steap learning curve.....
