My DS4 is screwed

R2 is stuck about 20% pressed, just got drive club and it accelerates all the time, it's defineyely the controller, any one know how to fix it?

Well, looks like mashing R2 a few times has fixed it.

Mine started squealing (a bit annoying) but heard of your problem before, these things aren't really incredible quality.

It's pretty known that the quality of the DS4's are questionable to say the least.

Well, looks like mashing R2 a few times has fixed it.

Use a q-tip to wipe a thin layer of vasiline on each side of the R2 trigger and then work it a bunch of times to distribute the lube. Dry plastic parts that need to slide together will tend to powderize and this powder combined with the gunk from your fingers, humidity will cause the gumming up of the sliding parts.
Only other thing it could be is the return spring inside being weak or broke.
