My duster...

Here are 3 of like 25 pics i took of my future car...
Due to e-mail trouble i was only able to send pako 4 pics. More to come!

Ignore the ugly primer brown. I hate that color 2. Im gonna paint it back to its origenal color, blue with white racing stripes.

thanks pako for downsizing the pics!

I'd guess at a server spaz - it's happened on at least 5 threads I've seen. Last night the times were about 14 hours out of step. Right now, they're correct...

Some specs...

-750 holly carb
-bored 340 ci block to 360 ci block w/ sleves
-727 torque flight auto tranny
-stall coverter (?)
-4:11 rear end
-oversized cams
-reinforced valves
-roller rocker cames
-some kind of racing pistons

alot of other stuff was done to it 20 years ago also. The whole engine was rebuilt with tons of party favors. I have no idea on the current h...p but when i get it running i want to bring it to a preformance shop to get it calculated. I do know its over 400 because it was like 350hp stock.

HEEEEEY!! another killer hot rod surfaces on GTP!!! Im starting to really love this place. your car is cool. do us a favor: dont paint it. or get it on black primer. oh, my god. so sinister a car that would be. and yeah, the power from your stroker 340 shpould be abut 400-470 horses. and in a flyweight B-body like the duster, it will SURE fly. way to go. cant wait to see what happens with it.

Cano

cool car!! and WE NEED MORE PICS!!! MOOOOOREEEEE MOOOOOOREEEEE!!!! :D

now, you know... I want your car. Really. and, my golly!! a true vintage Grant wheel. those extra-gauges at the bottom of the dash. and, If you gonna put all the trunk parts in the car, itll be a pain in the ass to figure our how to... but, anyway, cool project, and bad-ass ride. I really cant wait to see what happens.

BTW man, check your PMs :D

Hey does anybody know what i should do to the interrior? cuase it does need to be striped cause of the damn mice. Should i rebuild it or keep it bare metal? If i don't rebuilt the car would be a little lighter.

come on dude, if you gonna make a full-on race car out of it, leave the metal. if not, get some good vinyl and rebuild the entire interior. metal interios look LAME on street cars. you can throw the interior to a performance theme, you know, black everything or a color that goes well with the color you will paint the car, and nothing shiny in there. no chrome, just an all-busines looking interior. replace the gauges with autometers or something like that, but it would look mean. Ill try to find some pics of interiors that mimic what Im talkin about and post them here. its a good face lift that isnt THAT expensive and really adds a feeling of performance to the cockpit.

Ill help, promise. hell, I can even draw it if you want (:
