I got a logitech G27 that im not happy with so im selling, I liked the fanatec with 3 motors better, better feel IMO.

I'v had the 911 turbo before & it broke on me, im looking at getting another one but im trying to work out what my best deal is..

Im wondering, a great feature I liked about the 911 turbo was the wireless, its only got 1 power cable to the wheel & a small wire for gear stick, much much better than tripping over all my G27 cords.

Im wondering if the club sport pedals are wireless?

Will they fit on the RENNSPORT WHEEL STAND:?

I can get this pack for $699:

IF the club sport peddals are not wireless then I could also get the 911 turbo for around $220AUD then the club sport peddals for $330 = $550 Which i'd be happy with as I liked the 911 turbo peddals for some reason, I like the low resistance on the gas pedal.

Or I can get the Fanatec 911 GT3 RS Alcantara edition wheel for $299, then the club sport peddals for $330 = $630
Thats a much better steering wheel yes? But then I think I miss out on having manual gear sticks..

Its really hard to choose!

The GT3 RS has some awesome features & i like the drift feature which will come in handy for me...

Whats the difference between Fanatec 911 GT3 RS V1 & V2?

I think i'd rather the GT3 RS with the 911 turbo peddals, That'll be $220 for fanatec 911 turbo then $330 for club sport peddals = $550, So thats prob my cheapest bet, I'll get an awesome GT3 + 911 turbo pedals + 2 gear sticks..

What do you think?

If the club sport pedals are not wireless then I dont think i'll bother, If i did but that i'll have the same cord problems as I do with my G27.

Im really confused, Any info will help as im so dissapointed with my G27, I dont even have fun with it, IMO its just plan boring, but the fanatec 911 turbo, I had a blast using that..

Any info will help :)

Also will the wireless 911 turbo peddals work with the GT3 RS wheel?

Or this for $299:
http://www.pagnianimports.com.au/shop/product_info.php?products_id=35

That comes with the same wireless peddals that come with 911 turvo??
It does say "•Black painted metal shifter paddles" So are those the same peddals that come with 911 turbo?

Also will that fix the date probelm on ps3?

If so i guess my best bet will be that for $299..

The CSP pedals are not wireless, and they are not compatible with the original 911 wheel. However - they are far superior to the wireless 911 turbo pedals in almost every other way.

Perhaps this comparison chart will answer a few of your questions?! Fanatec feature comparison chart

I think I will just have to go with the origional 911 turbo for $225.

I already own a wheel stand bro with the extra fanatec mounting stuff.

If i got the Fanatec 911 GT3 RS V1 Wheel + Shifter set + Clubsport Pedals $699.00 thats only V1, I want V2 that will be avalible in Aus at end of september but i'd assume V2 will cost more, on top of that min $600 I may need fanatec wheel stand for $300. Thats a $1000 setup & i'd still be left with wire probelsm just like my G27..

The origional 911 tubo on the other hand is $225, It will work on the wheel stand I already own, then I just need to get the Turbo S dongle to fix the date changing, then i'v got a perfect setup with wireless & plastic peddals from 911 turbo which I have tried & loved! I like the 911 turbo peddals much better than G27 believe it or not, I find when wearing shoes with G27, after I brake my foot gets caught under the cluch, I never had this problem with 911 peddals..

So $300 for fanatec 911 turbo

Or $1000 min for Porsche 911 GT3 RS V2 Clubsport Edition + wheel stand

Its a HUGE different in price!

Hi, well from what i can see(GT3 RS V2 wheel bolted on + shifter bracket), Rennsport stand, only as 4 holes in it & reading on website, all Fanatec Wheels will fit. So would have thought if your Turbo fits a Wheelstand Pro, all Fanatec wheels will. Last resort drill more holes, if required.
GT3 RS V2 extra tuning functions, paddle changes, capable of future upgrading FW etc:-

Not much pricewise for upgrade kit & thats buying replacement parts. So IMO shouldn't be that more expensive than V1, but don't always work that way :) unfortunately, but heres hopeing.
CSP's are expensive, but when they arrive, do they put a smile on your face :) . UK wise, you could say you get them 1/2 price if GT3 RS V2 + CSP package bought, hope you get the same deal(or similar), when V2 arrives.
Also don't shifter set,fit all wheels. Shifter bracket/ Mount for Rennsport Stand, good, holds Shifter really solid. This uses same holes that you bolt wheel to.

Cheers BOB

ps isn't your orig wheel still in warranty ?

My Origional 911 turbo did have warranty, I got it replaced then sold it on ebay as brand new, I regret it now!

Also in regards to the wheel stand pro, the peddals are not perfect for the wheel stand, they do connect & claim to fit BUT their is some movement.

I think if I where to be paying $600+ for a fanatec setup, I'd just sell the wheel stand & hope i can get $200 back, then buy the fanatec wheel stand for $300 just to complete it, I just think spending that money an extra $100 to make it perfect & more stable is a price im willing to pay..

I think I will just stick to the normal fanatec 911 turbo & pray that I can get a new USB dongle, The wires are the killer for me! If the clubsport peddals where wireless then I'd get them, But the wires annoy me.

The 911 turbo is so perfect with no wires, its just so clean & easy to store, I just leave the dongle in my ps3, pull ot the power cable & all done.
With the wires I cant use cable ties very well as if I do them tight then go to fold the wheel stand down it will stretch the wires.

Wireless is one of the best feaures IMO & I dont wanna go back..

Hi, ive just got my cables taped(black electricians tape, PVC) to vertical shaft on Rennsport, you hardly notice it. Don't move/ extend shaft, but left/ made Tab on end of tape, few second job to remove, then re apply.
Wireless is tidier, yet again it can also be less stable/ subject to interference, maybe even laggy. 2.4GHz Keyboard i'm using now, lots of the time first letter etc of a post requires 2 presses :). Had PC on WiFi for a year or so, not too bad, odd prob every now & again etc thou, hard wired can't remember one prob, in years.
Not saying wireless with Fanatec wheel will have probs, well for all peeps/ other wireless devices/ microwaves etc :)
Swings & roundabouts thou, what suits one, don't suit another.

Cheers BOB

My PS3 is placed behind me. When I hard mounted an amplifier to my raceframe I suddenly started to experience cut-outs on the pedal inputs. I solved the problem by using a USB extension cord and placing my wireless dongle higher. I'm certain though that this would never have happened if the PS3 was sitting in front of the raceframe, by the screen.

Snap! I have no problem with the wires having spent some time when I first put the wheel Rennesport wheel stand, CSP and
Turbo S together creating a tidy layout with black electrician tape and velcro to keep the CSP secure till I want to move them as I did a couple of weeks ago to take the lot over to a friend's. It was literally the work of seconds to both take it apart and set it back up.

Hi, checked out your link, thats for plate etc for mounting Fanatec shifters to Rennsport Stand(worth having, works well, sturdy etc), then found link for what i think you require, & djustiz's link was it anyway :) , didn't check that first . Thats for pedals.
If you also mean G25/ G27 Shifter, not sure, might be a DIY mod, but can't think OTOH. Prob best with Fanatec Shifters.

Cheers BOB

I just order the Porsche 911 Turbo S Wheel- UE last week with the Clubsport Pedals and Shift Paddles....

Has anyone hard mounted this to the Wheel Stand Pro...I am more worry about the Pedals... are there pre-drill holes on the Pedals.......Thinking its best to use a Alum Plate

are there pre-drill holes on the Pedals

On the pedals are 4 holes to hardmount them. If you wanna take a look go on the GTomega thread, on the last page is a pic

Good choice BTW, have mine for 2 weeks = awesome

Just curious, why didn't you like the g27?

It just dont feel as good as the fanatec 911 turbo I used to own.

imo the G27 is just rather boring all round..

The thrird motor makes all the difference.

I rented midnight club from my local video shop in order to try get into using the G27 & I just found it boring..

Flying through oncoming traffic does give some satisfaction if you dont crash but without vibrations simulations from the motor its not as fun imo..

If you're into tactile feedback from the games you play (and honestly, who isn't once they've had a taste), you should really consider adding some kind of tactile transducer(s) to your setup. Personally I am running 4 TT's on my rig (besides the ones in the PWT). 3 Homemade, dirt cheap ones, and 1 almost as cheap commercial product. The three small homemade TT's vibrate the pedals, the steering wheel and the gearstick. The larger commercial one vibrates the seat. It REALLY does improves feel and immersiveness ALOT.
