My fate turns out to be ugly

I recently had done my best GTA:VC by doing the vigilante missions with the fbi cheetah, do the firefight missions, without unlocking the other islands, but then I stepped in front of the unique jump glitch. Yes, I repeated every jump on the faq but didnt get the full 36. I ended with 35. I am so frustrated that I have decided to give GTA:VC a rest.

For the people that have not done everything, this is an advice. Keep track of everything you do in this game, that is every unique stunt jump, hidden package or rampage that you do, check it back with your menu, because the game tends to "forget" what you do.

I am so sad.

Hey - is that the jump through the narrow laneway up the wooden ramp in Little Haiti - I can not for love nor money hit that one.

I always do everything at once. all jumps at once, all packages at once, all rampages at once, etc. etc.

I find it easier to remember what i completed that way.

yeah i find that if your going to go for something make sure you go for it all at once like don't start accutally trying to get the hidden packages or unique jumps when you alreday have some or most of them, like space said go for everything at once.

The wooden ramp in Little Haiti, I remember doing it, even getting the "Unique Jump" lettering. You have to get past the wrecked school bus and land over one of the houses. I did remember landing perfectly over one of those houses.

The truth is that I did some variations on everything. One day I was looking for packages, the other day, I was looking just for rampages.

Nah - it's not that one - if you're heading south from downtown on the divided road, take the first right after the hotel. After you've turned right, past the street on the left, and then there should be a laneway on your left, with a double wooden ramp pointing south - there should be a police bribe hanging in the air there.

I actually hit it last night in one of my other save games, but I missed the billboard on top of the building I thought I was supposed to hit - so now I'm really confused as to what I'm supposed to do. I couldn't replicate it in my 'Project 100% game' where I'm tracking everything I do.

vat_man, what type of vehicle are you using? If memory serves me correct, i used either teh angel/freeway or the crotch rocket.

I think i just clipped the billboard when i got that jump. (might have even crashed head on into it). all i know is that i didnt clear it.

Always use the PCJ 600 for unique jumps...they are excellent.

Very true.... they work best since they accelerate the fatsest and can fit into tighter spaces

Oh yeah, I did that one too, hit myself against the billboard but still did it. There is a hidden package near it too.

You should use a map printed off the computer, or the strtegy guide map, to track your progress.

Yeah i just printed off a 100% completion checklist and just checked the things off as i did them.

if you know which one you couldn't get, keep trying it over and over.. i thought i was experiencing this glitch, but read somewhere that you have to land in a certain place to get credit for some of the unique jumps... eventually i got credit for it... hope that helps

Yes the PCJ-600 dose work the best for all but one of the jumps in my opion, and thats the one from the sprial parking garage near wash. park mall,witch I found a fast car to work alot better

I remember that Little Haiti one, it got me stuffed as well on my other save, that's why i started a new one.

I printed out a list of hidden packages and then cross each one off as I find it. Much easier.
