Hey finally getting my hands on a car I can call my very own! My parents bought a new car, and since the trade-in value was negligible I was able to get the old one! Either way, I'm ultra-pumped; we're off to the Motor Office this Saturday to get the papers signed!
It's a 2002 Pontiac Bonneville SLE, and it's pretty much loaded. It has the optional chrome wheels (they add SO much!👍), powered sunroof, and the leather interior. She's in great shape for her age (~166,000 KM) with only a couple of very minor rust bubblings (not really apparent in the pics - these were taken a couple of years ago). Overall it's a really nice-looking car, even more so since the windows were tinted.
Being an SLE I miss out on the supercharged capability of the top-of-the-line SSEi, but the 3800 Series II still puts out ~210HP. But it gets me to where I want to go without fuss, and still returns decent fuel economy.
It's also got a killer sound system. I've got a Pioneer AVIC-X910BT head unit complete with navigation capability. In the trunk I have a TS-SWX310 subwoofer with TS-D902P 6x9s inside the rear deck. The doors also have Pioneer units, whose model number escapes me at the moment. Have some nice amps to round out the package; my Bonneville really thumps! But I have plans for the trunk should time and money permit; I'm hoping to get my dad to help me build a custom box to house two subs and the corresponding amplifiers, and then get some red neon lights accent it. I'm going to get some dynomat as well to keep unwanted shakes and vibrations out.
But long story short, I'm just absolutely thrilled to finally have my own ride! The future's going to be bright... and LOUD!
Here are a couple pics:

She looks waaay better when she's all shined up! I'll post pics when (if) my plans for the trunk are ever realized... but that's not going to be for some time yet.
So, what does GTP think of my new pride and joy?
