Yes it would be nice to see more than just one turn. I have a few clips but their size is about 25MB and I don't have more than 50MB free space on web servers. And BTW I'm on dial-up :banghead: :mad:
 
use divx 4 fast motion, change music to mono 8mb or something.. and then encode to a wmv file..

ps.. i encoded your file to wmv, and it now its 932kb

I'm encoding with VirtualDub and it's "in-build" codecs. I tried to compress the video with DivX 5.0.5 and 5.1, but the picture quality was terrible. I even don't have option in VirtualDub to compress video in DivX 4 (don't have codec installed ???)I guess I could also rip the sound off.
Keep in mind, that I'm totaly n00b with video encoding, so any info would be helpfull.

damn i cant watch any AVI, can you guys just download the Windows Movie Maker and turn it into 56k friendly and make it WMV so i can view it at schools, i cant download anything at school for my windows media player, so make it Mpeg or WMV if you want more people to watch it.
 
I made it... in wmv format the same clips are about 4MB. I'll upload them tomorow at work. I'm bringing to you another 2 clips - Supra on Laguna Seca and RX-7 RZ. Both cars are stock except of standard drifting stuff but without LSD.
Sorry for kinda dark clips. I must tune my Capture settings. Expect a-l-o-t-t-a video clips. I got 50MB of free space and I'm gonna use it well :mischievous:
And YES Night_Drifter, they all are gonna be user 56k friendly ;) . I'll keep you posted. Thanks guys, you rule :cool:
 
The drift looked relatively smooth, but it's hard to tell if your any good just by one corner. You should upload a full lap, so we give you better feadback. Are you using a wheel, or a controller?;)
 
As I promised -> You have now 2 more clips, with full laps (Sliviadrifter ;) ). One with Supra and one with RX7. Also I have page dedicated to GT3 - mostly clips. The page will be written in my language (slovenian), just the drift page is written in English. Just for you :D

nice videos.. were those cars stock? they seem pretty slow. i think u need to get more sideways before the turn.. keep practicing ;)
 
I revised the clips ... nja, they ain't anything special. First I thought the drifts were awsome, but now I'm drifting better and better every day. Only reason I uploaded those clips is that I somehow managed to drive whole lap without spinning (OK, except with Supra :embarrassed: ).
I'm allready working on my new drift clips. I still have a lot of work to do - cutting, pasting, music bacground, splitting and combining, ... You how this stuff goes. Keep your eye on teh page. Of course I'm gonna also post news here.

Oh yeah, layzeeboi: The cars are stock. Some of them only have "easy-tunning", that means sports air filter. So, usualy the cars have about 300 HP. When I'll master the driving with 300HP, then I'm going for 2nd or 3th stage Turbo and accessories ;) :mischievous:
 
Better and better.........Dude, I can't wait for your first vid. You have greatly improved. Are you using SIMS????? I got some vids in my collection that might help you out, and some settings for more "high-speed" type drifts. PM me if you want them.
 
Yeah, I saw it.......nice spin....even nicer recovery (didn't hit the kitty litter).:lol:

What are your settings? I've been experementing with ASM: 0 TCS: 1, LSD: 50, 60, 30, and using Super Softs to Mediums (in different combinations front and rear) for high speed drifts.

Pretty trick.......give it a try!!

I usualy set the car to ASM:0 TSC:0 and LSD:2 or without LSD at all and fitting the Sim tyres.

BTW, I must upload the clip with 1050HP Supra. Supra wich one is on the page only has about 350HP :embarrassed:
